I dunno. I still don't think Beale is a great 10. I think he would be a better playmaker in rugby league. And is a better fullback in union.
His best weapon as a 10 is the ability to take the ball to the line (although not always running straight) and put the the defense in two minds, holding the ball up and skipping and jumping across field and then popping a very short pass to someone who is running at an angle into a gap. If this doesn't happen, and no one is in support, he'll eventually run through a gap himself. I think if he was playing 10 more regularly, and not just half a game where tactics from the opposition team haven't targeted him at 10, I think his limited game would get found out more often than not.
As shown on the weekend, when he had to pass the ball more than 10m, it went to ground a lot of times.
I think Quades ability to make average players around him look good, and organise them and use the whole field makes him a better flyhalf.
