Well looked to me like the Boks actually didn't hold the weight, going for what they got a reset, but thems the breaks.Faf should have lost the feed on that scrum, was no chance he was ever feeding the ball. He was killing the clock and Barnes pretty much said I'm not making that call to Ardie. Should have given a free kick and called a spade a spade when it was that clear and obvious.

Completely disagree, ABs desperate for a TH in the dying minutes laid on the weight immediately and pushed before the ball was fed. I think Barnes would have been closer to a short arm for early shove than for not holding the weight.Faf should have lost the feed on that scrum, was no chance he was ever feeding the ball. Its always been thus and one of those facts those who lean more into the League side of things tend to hate.this for me. the three best teams (Ireland, France and AB's) that can actually play Rugby in all its dimensions, have some attacking flair and can defend as well, get beaten by a limited (but clearly effective) game plan based on brute strength and kicking. and the officiating imo left a bit to be desired.
In most sports, the winner of a finals match will be the team who implements a conservative game plan .this for me. the three best teams (Ireland, France and AB's) that can actually play Rugby in all its dimensions, have some attacking flair and can defend as well, get beaten by a limited (but clearly effective) game plan based on brute strength and kicking. and the officiating imo left a bit to be desired.
I might have been half asleep, but did Barnes admit an incorrect penalty but still allow the penalty kick to stand????
There's another incident, a photo circulating on social media.
Can you post a link?
I actually noticed that one real-time and just assumed that they had looked at it in the background. Who knows. You'd sure hope so. After Kerevi got done all those years ago against Wales you tend to be a little more keyed in to seeing the old leading forearm in games.^ doesn't look flash @Penriff_boy but single-shot screen grabs often don't. I'm sure if you went frame-by-frame you'd find plenty of similarly bad-looking contacts in any given game.
Yeah the one and only time someone has been done for it in the history of forever.I actually noticed that one real-time and just assumed that they had looked at it in the background. Who knows. And Jeb Sinclair (Canada) (red) and Finn Russell (red) and Kerevi again this RWC (yellow).I actually noticed that one real-time and just assumed that they had looked at it in the background. Like when the ref calls ‘No knock on’ and then the TMO calls it back to reverse the try right?
