Yes!

I was just about to post the same thing........

If it hasn't previously had a heartbeat, it is not worth eating. This is the general consensus in South Africa, and probably doesn't come as much of a surprise once you have seen the size of most inhabitants of this country.
Brumbies teammate Etienne Oosthuizen is no exception.
I was one of the lucky few who saw him attack the buffet for breakfast. Five steaks, topped with mince and ham, with a side of eggs. Aussie kids, take note!

If you don't watch Rugby HQ there is a segment called "truth or lion" and it was revealed that Dan Palmer's job at the time of the 2001 lions tour was at a butcher, and he was paid in meat!

What's wrong with this scrum?

And what happened next?

Halfback feeding on the wrong side of the scrum! And also doing a crooked feed...so free kick against him!

I thought the scrum half has the choice of which side to feed from? Covers for left handed (footed) hookers. Not that they strike anymore, but that's another issue

Don't know where to post these but I give it a go here. In Football its called ball watching and defenders getting canned if they do it.

See if you can pick up how the hole is created in these for attacker to get a scoring opportunity. The first one is JdV scoring in Bloemfontein cutting back and powering over

Then we have Jacque Fourie scoring in Perth from a lovely flatball but everyone was ball watching

Correct, the halfback can feed from either side but once they've lined up on one side, they can't change to the other side.

Also the referee has one more thing to consider which is about the opposing scrum half who has to be behind his own forward pack if he is on the other side to that of the feeding scrum half!

But ain't it open to interpretation

No Delay. As soon as the front rows have come together, the scrum half must throw in the
ball without delay. The scrum half must throw in the ball when told to do so by the referee.
The scrum half must throw in the ball from the side of the scrum first chosen.
Sanction: Free Kick

Nothing is being mentioned he must chose that option at the "first scrum" and stick to it. So to my understanding that option resets with every scrum. He just have to stick to the side he is standing when the scrum is formed. Anyone else's view?

During the Chiefs v Reds today, Scotty Stephenson: "Slipper has caught (someone). Ironical.".

The bad news is you’ll probably have to feed it in on the tight head side.

But if the opposition aren't ready for it and you are, you'll most likely catch their front row out.

I agree the option for which side to feed would reset each scrum - I think the point is that you can't line up on the loosehead side and then switch to the tighthead side once the opposition have setup for a feed from the left.

That is what I understand from that law. Coaching the youngsters here you had to tell them a lot about which side to put it it in. Even in a game you need to ask them are you sure cause to them a prop is a prop and they are still pure trying to go forward or not trying to go backwards in a scrum. How that will change one day when they reach higher levels. Then its up or down but never back.
