Also touch judge on the Hardman (lineout) call was disgraceful, it couldn't have been straighter. correct. I replayed it a few times and couldn't see anything wrong with the throw. If it's in that metre channel between the shoulders it's OK. I did my research and Stephen Hill was the same AR who missed that forward pass in the Reds game when the Tahs scored even when Joubert asked him. wrong. The passer's hands were straight across the paddock; his forward momentum made the ball go forward but that's OK according to the Laws. Hill got this one right.

The Reds general play kicking really let them down at the start of the 2nd half Genia & Hynes both failed to clear ourt of our half twice each which led to a lot of pressure & two tries.

We did comebackwell & started to play all the rugby I don't know what happened in the 73rd minute when Genia had the ball knocked out of his hands right in front of the sticks but I'll have to check the replay as I thought it was a Blues hand.

I thought the Reds had quite a few chances to take the lead but just couldn't convert and took the wrong options. The Reds are the masters of losing games they could win.

What I am struggling to get my head around is the defensive lapses last night IMO defense is all about attitude, last week great this week not so.

Was also good to see Greg Holmes dish it up to the Myth last night, fuck Woodcock get's a way with a lot he's the Kiwi Bill Young.

He's bores in everytime the ref is on the opposite side & then whe the ref is on his side he buckles.

With next week in mind injuries considered.

I think that playing Toua at fullback is the best option, but I am painfully aware that if Morahan is overlooked again, (considering that he missed the wing spot to davies) that he may be on the first plane to Melbourne.

So I propose, is it too early to start chambers at 13?

Then play Morahan at 14. Toua 15?

All outstanding youngsters could give the backline a different look.

For me Higgenbotham has been a huge disappointment. When I saw him in the Crusaders game last year I thought Australia had found a new Elsom. What do others think of him?

He holds massive potential. He is very tall for a 6 or 8, big bodied and extremely athletic.

However I do not think he understand what it requires off the paddock to take the next step. He has played in no underage rep teams and it must be said that his road to the professional environment was somewhat red carpeted due to his size.

This often happens with athletes that are extremely naturally gifted that they just don't work hard enough because it has all come to easy.

Higginbotham could be great but right now is an average Super player.

Any word on whether Lilo (the 8) will get cited for his head but on Ioane in the second half? Couldn't believe the ref and AR missed it, should have gotten a yellow at least for no arms in the tackle. Head straight into Ioane's cheekbone.

summed up well. i think he's still fairly young no? i see a lot of spies in him. and spies only began to find it this last year. he was extemely flaky before that. i think scott has the same potential, just working up to it. hopefully.

If Higgin was half the player that Spies potentially is, then I would be stoked as a reds supporter.

If he doesn't defect to the rebels that is. :angryfire:

yeah this one got me confused as well, i thought it was dead straight but just assumed it was a bad camera angle

Complete and utter pre-meditation. I call for that TJ to never TJ again, let's hope and see if he is stood down like that Kiwi TJ got stood down the other week. Hopefully their is some form of consistency.

Higgenbatty makes zero go forward. I don't know how he does it with his size and physique.

He create as much as he should given his size, but he works very hard in support, and seems to the the forward that is always there when a break or half break is made. He made a good team with Houston, as Houston would break a tackle, or get away an offload and Higginbotham would be there in support.

Wow, Nick. Mabye Davies got hit so hard in the head it changed him to look like Chambers?
