Stadium seems to have quite a few empty seats. Crowd Tips? 30k?

EDIT: 36205 crowd announced.

5 minutes to go and 6000 of them are leaving in droves. Just like Moore Park in the not so good old days.

Looks like the Reds backline met each other the night before the match.

Its RG's secret training tactic - all the backs wear sensory deprivation gear for the week leading into the game. He calls it "situation awareness training".

Simmons.. First he knocks the ball out of TPN's hands in a tackle, and then he rips the ball off Palu In a tackle..

If that was Skelton who did it the commentators would be fapping..

If Skelton missed that tackle on Beale for the try the comms would probably ignore it too.

I havent seen any team in any sport so poor at their chosen field as this reds team.

The line out, scrum and maul are just about the only things that are functional.

Utter disgrace.

The unlucky pass by 13 straight to the Tahs probably sums up the Reds game this evening.

For all the bitching about hiding Cooper in defense, isn't it wonderful how the Tahs hide Foley in the Hookers position on defensive lineouts.

Hurricanes did it with Barrett. Blues did it with Benji. A lot of the ITM Cup teams (Hawkes Bay - Ihaia West, Highlanders - Hayden Parker) did it as well. I pointed it out to a few Kiwis and they trotted out the "counterattack" argument as standard.

At least standing in the 5, the chances are Foley will have to tackle a forward...

I have only seen the try highlights via the Super Rugby app, but I get te feeling that the Crusaders suddenly became favourites.

Interesting backline from the Tahs. Two scrum halfs and two five eighths.
