Hmmm Reds vs Wife?

They both let me down at times, but the Reds seem to do it way more often.

At least you know roughly which time of the month your wife will let you down. The Reds tend to pick odd weeks to win which makes their hormonal cycle much more irregular.

The Reds generally cost less.
Well then Skotman will hopefull make full use of tonite, perfect time of the month , right now!. :lmao:

Very impressed with Rodney Davies. Mainly because he has improved so much on his last season. Love seeing wingers pin their ears back and just go for it, don't see it enough.

Saw a few minutes here and there, and I gotta say what I saw was impressing particurly from Will Genia. This player is now becoming one of the best players in World Rugby.

Superb - what a spanking! Davies and Genia were both outstanding.

It pains me to write this but well done Reds. Impressive win. Great to see D Carter not so smug.

I watched bits and pieces of the game and was encouraged by the early yellow card. How was the refs performance overall?

Yeah tremendous turn around. I actually had him best on ground last week (as did a few at the QRU). Really happy to see a player prove me and alot of doubters wrong.

oh my wordy.

That was a great game. Pity about the crowd. Interestingly the win will bring more people back to next week's game, which is at Ballymore so it should be packed to the rafters, thus reigniting the back to Ballymore brigade.

But anyway, back to the game.

When is Van back? Shees we need him. Simmons went missing.

Very impressed with Fainga'a, other than some throwing that went AWOL.

Schatz had a great game too.

Awesome game by the backline though.

I love Quade. Love him to bits.

And they are combining so well. That first try was something special.

Oh. I am going to burst.

Was also great to see Craig Joubert didn't discover consistency this week.

And a great flaw in the new interpretation, as the tackler has to let go to play the ball, players are left on the ground untouched and deemed (by Jourbert at least) as not tackled. They simply can get up and run again. Should you choose to hold them, you get penalized. Can we please keep messing with the laws.

QRU need to be working of this high at the moment and signing as many of the team as possible. Start with Hynes and Cooper pronto.

Don't jump the gun on Cooper, he's still got a court case to deal with, that could very well result in some career ending proceedings.

Agree with louie. It's a great day for Oz rugby. And it's a great day for Oz rugby because it's a great day for Qld rugby.

I don't know where to begin. I wasn't surprised that much that the Reds played well - they just took last week and added on more time of excellence.

It was the poor effort of the Crusaders that surprised me and if that seems faint praise for the Reds, the visitors wouldn't have made 24 turnovers, 17 handling errors and missed 23 tackles against an ordinary team. Some of the handling errors were unforced but most their other mistakes were forced, big time.

Despite a few criticisms on another thread Cooper had a great game and so did the bloke outside him, Ant Fainga'a. I've been waiting for him to get a start for a while and if he was OK last week he rocked tonight. Turinui looked good too. I must admit I was disappointed when I recognised that it was he who made the break, but didn't he do the right thing with the pill, and didn't Davies do the right thing by following him through for the pass?

Let's not spend too many words on Genia and just take him for granted.

Some of the decisions were quite favourable to the Reds as they will be with so much possession and refs cracking down on spoiling the ball, but I reckon that Franks guy who got the yellow should have got another card after he came back for doing much the same thing in much the same spot.

A great effort Reds - if you play like that the Blues will be easy meat, even without Big Kev.

Afte all I have said in debasing Cooper he has shown what he can do, last night he played rugby as a team player instead of trying to do it himself and there were no (well only one) bunny hops -
I am not getting too carried away but if he can keep that composure and continue we just might have something.
Does his performance work in inverse proportion to the number of bunny hops he does - if so he's on the right track.
