anyone know if digby is busted up at all? i think in that end of the game clip from last week i saw him purposefully shaking hands with his left and not using his right arm. shoulder problems again?

i hope he isnt injured, would be a crying shame

It would make sense. Against the Tahs he was good enough but failed to meet his own high standards.

well no that doesnt really make sense, it was the nature of the game that the wingers werent involved to heavily

I disagree. Sidey scored a try as a wing and Turner even nearly scored a couple (one with a fancy grubber and one he was tackled out). Mitchell and particularly Davies had their hands on the ball a fair bit.
Plus the Reds were using their wingers on angles up the guts constantly. Saturday's game was as winger orientated as any.

Digger's didn't have a bad game, just not a great one. Maybe it was lack of a extended pre-season, I'm sure he will come good.

NSW wingers were involved more then QLD's, Davies did a few runs and so did Digby, Digby was even involved in a try.

I don't understand what point you are trying to make sorry. All I was saying is Diggers is yet to hit peak form.

No arguments here sadly. My optimism has gone the way of Shep's hamstring (or was it thigh?).

Under a year till Melbourne gets up and running :) I'll be jumping ship quick as a flash. Shame about the username though.

fp,

What has that to do with Reds v Crusaders?

:lmao: dunno, more to do with typing in the wrong thread whilst talking on the phone.

People will start to think you are female if you keep multi-tasking like that. Although you weren't all that successful in it, so I guess you are safe at the moment.

I like it. Will he play 6 as listed, or 8 though? I wonder if Link is thinking a 40/40 type of tag team arrangement with him and Leroy?

Interesting lineup.

Hope Saia can keep the set piece together. But it will be good to see Chiba Hanson and Rob Simmonds get a run.

Good to see Leroy on the bench too - however Lei Tomiki again misses out.

Andrew Shaw obviously pays for his two costly penalties.

Typicial Mainlander Luck....

Been in Brissy three weeks but when the GODs come to town it's just my luck to be in Canberra again....

I leave Briss on Friday about an hour before kick off. :angryfire:

Well at least I'll have Foxtell in Canberra, although with flight times I'll still miss the begining.

Crusaders should win this one at a canter, specially with todays drop in temp taking away the Red's heat advantage but there should still be some interesting match ups, Genia against Ellis, Braid against Whitelock.
