Sure Quade can improve his play. On his day QC (Quade Cooper) is the best 10 running around. His days seemed numbered.

I'm just sick and tired waiting for it

Based on form this year Lance is a fair way ahead of Quade.

Scrub, I fail to see Jonno's good form this year. He has missed quite a bit through injury, but the games I've seen him play he has been just a shadow of his form last year.

Yeah, Lance has been well down this year. Burton was selected ahead of him last game as well. Lance came on early due to injuries and didn't do much, either.

Fair comment but I'd still take him in a heartbeat.

As said, if Force cut , I think he will head OS

And that's fair enough Scrub. I like Lance too. But let's not sell Quade, not on my behalf anyway. He is NOT what he was. Still love him, and we don't really have enough game time (with the plonker's ban) to gauge him at more than competent.

On another point. If we have the room in the Reds family for the big names we have this year; then hell yes we have room for LFG and Smith. Oh yes. And Korzcyk (OK insert name of your personal favourite). AND HIGGERS!

Don't need Genia. Don't particularly need Squeak, though i suspect we are underplaying his leadership, even at the Reds, even now. Or, god forgive Houston. And there's an ex-WB lock, can't remember his name off the top of my head. Anyways, we have cash to save.

I would also take both Lance and Quade on this list. Both. But no doubt, someone, somewhere, will be noisey about the WBs being more important than the Reds. (As if.)

I'll be bloody annoyed though, if we don't have one. Lance/Quade. I'll take Quade. But don't be without either.

I wonder if he is a McIntyre fan ?

TBH Jason's done fuck all so far at this level. He was a good schoolboy level coach back in the day.

Stiley's copped a bit over the success rate this year but I can't remember anyone YET criticising the Assistants. Maybe they should be getting their fair share as well.

Matt Taylor is out of contract after this year.

Floggn also said this a few pages back:

On another note I've heard whispers of Jim McKay being around QRU head quarters of late.. Wonder why.

Sure there was plenty of discussion re their appointments but not of their performances to date.

Happy to be shown I'm wrong if you can point out some posts commenting on them

Ok Scrubber, you are right until proven wrong, you're clearly the first person to question the assistant coaches and should be praised accordingly

Scrubber, Check your Reds fan manual.

Rule #109. Though shalt not criticise Brad Thorn.

See, it's right there between these two gems that someone suck in.

Rule #108. QC (Quade Cooper) will never be as good as he was in 2011 and should be judged against that form in perpetuity despite no better option being available

and,

Rule #110. S Moore is the problem and should never have been signed.

I misplaced my reds Manual but thanks for enlightening me.

Some of those rules are spot on in part
Rule #108. QC (Quade Cooper) will never be as good as he was in 2011.
Rule #110. S Moore should never have been signed.
Rule# 109 in full

Many thanks for bringing it to my attention

I would like to see Houston in the #6 jersey this weekend. From what I saw of the Wests v GPS game, he was quite good. Adam Korczyk has a lot of potential, but Leroy provides that advantage line gain through his ball running. Just wondering how much pressure this would put on the line out? Does Leroy jump? Also happy to see Tui in the 6 jersey, but I think he is a great impact player with 20 or so minutes to go. I think it's time that Leroy is given a shot.

.

How much has Thorn had to do with the Reds squad this season? because he is also the Reds U20s coach and has been working with them up until last weeks final. He hasn't travelled with the Reds, didn't go to a South Africa/Argentina.

Lineout wouldn't be an issue as long as you have Higgers or Tui at 6, 3 specialist lineout jumpers will get you by in Super Rugby, having 4 is a luxury.
