They did the whole schoolboy's thing for us at the highlanders game. What you do is get the big rivalries (i.e. NC V GT, BBC V ACGS ect) and put their game on at suncorp. They'll bring along all their:
a) team
b) parents
c) heaps of schoolboys who are rowdy and atmospheric
d) $$ money
And your set.
They did this in week 14 for the Reds V Highlanders, put the churchie v BBC game on and what do you know, i was at the game (not with bbc but with family in different stand), and they must have pulled an extra, well it must've been close to 800 more people. Doesn't sound like much but those people all buy the suncorp food (ridiculous prices), and at the highlanders game all get addicted to the reds. That was a great game (L).
So even better, why not put the NC v GT game on before a Reds game? I've heard that in the past they've drawn insane crowds to tenyson from locals (i live in Graceville just next door). You could potentially pull an extra couple of thousand. But I've just realized they'll probably be at the Reds anyway
