If I had to pick a few that may make that mark it would be Genia and TPN, but both seem quite shy.

I would throw Elsom into that mix as well - he is quite articulate, but in a laid back manner. Barnes, Hoiles, Horwill and Baxter are okay speakers, but you are quite right, there is no gentlemens club in the Wallabies these days so to speak, especially when half the team are greasy 20 year olds.

On Quade :are the Rebels looming at all?

look at giteau, the force hardly got the best of him and he was arguably the best in the world when he went there.

cf the brilliance the Brumbies have got from him this year.

he was at the top of his game at the brumbies before he went to the force though, if anything his career has suffered as a result of switching to 5/8 which i think when it was going well, the force clamed credit for

i honestly hope that the Force are left with nothing at the end of all this, they need to learn that throwing around cash isnt the solution to player development.

I raised this over at TWF and ive been crucified for my comments, some people you just cant win with.

Hey tweeps it's bed time just to let everyone know I'm Not shopping around I'm just trying to concentrate on playing good football I'm having so much fun playing with my team mates and enjoying seeing the fans support for us so thanks everyone :) game day tomoz !!!!

^^^ from quades tweeter...

this has me worried that he might be getting distracted by the hype of his contract

I was worried about that too. Although I don't see it as a factor once you run out onto the pitch.

I really hope all this talk about Quade Cooper's rugby future is mere speculation. He is one of the principal reasons the Reds have been on fire this season.

The Reds have been great for him off the field, Genia is giving him every opportunity to be creative, Fainga'a is plaing superbly outside him,and the team has such a positive attitude about it at the moment. However, if there really is that much money on the table from the Force, then he would be mad not to consider it. Top shelf career time is what, ten to twelve years? He has to maximise his earn in that time as I don't know that he has much else outside rugby at present.

Except for a small but growing second-hand goods business.

lol, I was pretty shocked by all this speculation at first, and a bit pissed, ultimately that's not going to achieve anything though, I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the Reds season and not worry about the contract....

Rodney Blake for QLD in 2011?

Rodney Blake, now there's a thought. How has he been going overseas?

Forget the talk about Cooper for a minute, one player who will be greatly missed in 2011 is Daniel Braid. He has been a tremendous asset to the team this year.

Good to see all the non-selected Reds playing club rugby today. Read in the paper today that Morahan and Byrnes rang up the Uni coach on Wednesday after they missed selection. That's the right attitude.

Yep, if finals footy is on the agenda, you want to be apart of that and you want to be in the 22. That is good to hear.

Not all Force fans are salivating over the prospect of Cooper heading west.

I, for one, do not regard him as any sort of deity. While he has been playing some great rugby at the moment I think there is a real possibility that, over time, he may end up being more trouble than he is worth.

I would rather the Force sign another marque flyhalf for next year while we develop some of the younger talent we already have.

Every Rugby fan north of the Tweed River agrees.

ha ha, yeah I definatley agree. The force would be much better with a marquee flyhalf, keep david hill.

It will be terrible to see Braidy go next year, but young Eddy Quirk and Jake Shaatz should handle his load between them.

As for Rodney Blake he would be a great signing in my opinion, he could be our number one TH and give the young props in the stable a few more years to learn their dark magic. Think Slipper and PAE.

Perhaps Link deserves a twitter Re big Rod??

I can just picture the big bastard running off of Coopers service. I hope he has become more proffessional and not as lazy if he was to come back. I know he is under contract but if a release was on offer I would love to see him back.

so what are we going to do next year?

Play Lucas at 10? Now we've lost our back up scrummie.

To'omua is signed now.

Do we go after Daruda? Should we sign a marque player? Those will be hard to get RWC year.

Jono lance? Do we move Hynes again? This time to 10?
