Reds facebook page last night said "Queensland Reds -Toua plays major role in last two tries - Go the Reds".

But haven't been able to find any footage around of the match at all. If Toua's good enough he'll get his shot.

Toua did set up the last two tries. Quirk was awsome, Horwill was in everything, digby was as destructive as ever and set Quirk up for the first try. Reds scrum held up well. Tupai (forgive spelling) had a good game at inside centre. The Reds were very domminant in the first half with massive amounts of posession and Territory.

There will be a match report going up on the front page later.

Ah Digby Ioane, out for half a year, replaced with not too many dramas within the Wallabies and now he is back at his best and all of a sudden Robbie Deans is pondering where the freaking hell he is going to fit him in. Love it. Please stay un-injured...please!

I would love to see some footage of Toua setting up those tries! I honestly have never seen him play, I don't even know what he looks like, even though I have heard so much about this young fella.

I for one am very happy if that remains one of the dilemmas Robbie faces this year. Can only help to have more guys fighting for positions. Ioane, Mitchell, Turner, JOC (James O'Connor), Chambers, Davies, Beale in any sort of combo makes for an entertaining back 3.
Now if only we can have the same problem up front! :)

Oh I think we might, if the Reds, Waratahs and Brumbies front rows have good seasons. I think the biggest problem area in Australia is scrum half...but that's another topic. Anyway, speaking of front rows, I hope you cover how the scrum held up last night Ruggo *thumbs up*

Reddy there's a vid of Toua on youtube that gives you an idea of what he's like:

about 2 years ago i was backing Aidan Toua as the next big thing for QLD Rugby, that was prior to some cruelling injuries though, and was also at a time when it was much easier for a player to get a run in a QLD Jersey...

I honestly still think that statement holds true.

Excellent first up effort with the match report on the front page Ruggo...cheers! Seems like Diggers and Horwill are coming along nicely and that is a great sign for the Reds. Be interesting to see how the game day 22 shapes up in a fortnights time, on the back of the two trial matches. I'll have a stab, based on what I saw in Cairns, and what I've read so far:

1. Slipper 2. Fainga'a S. 3. Daly 4. Simmons 5. Horwill 6. Samo 7. Robinson 8. Higginbottom 9. Genia 10. Cooper 11. Ioane 12. Fainga'a 13. Chambers 14. Davies 15. Hynes 16. Hansen 17. Holmes 18. Sheperdson 19. Van Humphries 20. Quirk 21.Lucas 22. Harris

Not that confident with the above as there are a number of guys that would have to be close and unlucky not to be named, and who knows of the fitness of A Fainga'a and Hynes?

Daley is a loose head prop so Slipper would be playing Tight head which is good for the wallabies.
