Reddy!

I firmly believe that by just having Genia and Cooper in our backline, the Reds have the best backline in the competition.

The Tahs just have Kurtley and Mitchell, outside men who could struggle for opportunities with average players like Burgess, Barnes, Carter, Cross inside them.

I also believe that the Reds work better together than the Tah's do. They seem to have styles that complement each other and enhance those around them.

Saw S Fainga'a wandering along the street outside Ballymore this arvo. His knee injury didn't seem to be hindering his sauntering and simultaneous vigorous txtng.

I firmly believe the world is flat and this nonsense about a globe is just a giant religous conspiracy. We only have a couple of weeks before we find out just how wonderful the Reds backline really is.

Very good niggle chaps, it's building up nicely, and the conference system will raise it to another level.

ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE .......?

You are dreaming mate, the Crusaders are simply streets ahead of any side in the comp, the next closest are the Stormers and Bulls

9 Andy Ellis
10 Daniel Carter
11 Zac Guildford
12 Sonny Bill Williams
13 Robbie Fruean
14 Sean Maitland
15 Israel Dagg

They are bigger, as talented as any and more cohesive by the end of the season; and they also have a great forward pack, and quality across the bench to give them the ball they need when the comp gets hard

Gees, I don't know about that. I reckon man for man it's not as decisive.

9 Andy Ellis v Will Genia
10 Daniel Carter v Quade Cooper
11 Zac Guildford v Digby Ioane
12 Sonny Bill Williams v Anthony Fainga'a
13 Robbie Fruean v Will Chambers
14 Sean Maitland v Rod Davies
15 Israel Dagg v Peter Hynes

Carter over Cooper for sure. But only at peak form. Has Carter been in peak form for a while? SBW v Fainga'a? Hmm you could make an argument either way. SBW pure unadulterated skill gets him across the line probably. Then the only other way that probably goes the Cru's way, is at fullback. But only just and more because Hynes has been injured of late.

I guess we will find out in Round 15 at Suncorp

So, ive found out St George have signed for 12months at this time, possibly the largest sponsorship out of the Australian Super Rugby sides... Whilst none of the teams divulge the exact details, its ruptured the Rebels signed Dabo Direct for $500k over 5 years, NSW signed HSBC for $600k over 3 years and the QRU signed St George for $1million over 12months..

In another indicator of how good publicity have turned the organization around, the value of the 'sleeve' sponsorship increased 300% between last year and this year

All just estimates of course

Both great units and both share the common ground of being extremely coherant. Best backlines in the comp without doubt.

I am a mad reds fan but if i had both backlines today 1 maybe 2 reds. genia infront of ellis maybe. I'm a fan of the rocket but would like to see a bit more than speed. Ioane can swap sides and play for maitland. carter does not need to be anywhere near peak form to be ten lengths in front of cooper.
The canterbury 12/13 is also miles ahead of ours at present. Is hynes the second best 15 in australia? I would pick robbie deans before him!
