I think there should be more of a brotherly feel to the game on Friday.

And on that note, can we change the thread name to "Rebels A v Rebels B"?

Between Fainga'a Brothers maybe but the rest I want to see belting each other...

Reds can pretty much guarantee they won't get the wooden spoon with a win on Friday night. So hopefully they do it.

Wondering what the starting side will look like actually. Courier Mail suggested Turner to fullback, Harris playing centre and Daley back into the squad too.

Bit of footage of the Reds boys at scrum practise. Looks like the starting pack will be
1. Slipper 2. Chibba 3.Holmes
4. Horwill 5. Simmons
6. Browning 7. Robinson 8. Schatz
Nice to have the 3 wallaby boys and chibba back from national camp hopefully they're buzzing and fired up, especially Big Kev.

If turner does indeed go to fullback, maybe we'll see.
9. Frisby
10. Lucas
11. Shipperley
12. Harris
13. Taps
14. Davies or JJ
15. Turner.

Hmmm, if the reds can win this one, it'll be up front.

Schatz has been average this year but the rest of that pack is very strong. I doubt the Rebels pack will be able to go with them. However, the Reds backs are another matter altogether.

Reserve front row was Daley, Saia and was that Anae or Paraka?

Schatz has been a bit better in the more recent weeks. Agree the Reds pack should be better than the Rebel's, but I worry about our outside backs and halves.

Schatzy has been off song this year which is surprising given that he won my award last year.

There are not many real contenders for the Stan Pilecki Trophy this year - probably
Gilly: missed several matches through injury
Slipper: good year
Holmes: good year
Horwill: not a good year
Genia: nah
Cooper: too many games missed through injury
Rest of backs: no show

Tip: Rob Simmons to win from Slipper and Holmes

I think Higgers hasn't done himself any favours playing so wide, particularly at Wallaby level. Palu played a wonderful game last week - fairly tight with line bending/breaking runs. Higgers should be doing the same.
