I was happy when the government kicked Novax out of the Aus open, but any chance we can get S Timani to change his mind and come to Melbourne.

I think it's reasonable. Generally if the red card is upheld (from two yellows) then you get an extra week's suspension.

God, remember when we'd have 18,000 at home games? We weren't the 'winningest' team but we played with flair, the crowd was excited and engaged. Great vibes everywhere.

My brother said the same thing as Kevin. Arrived late and left early, just totally dejected. He and I have been to about 90% of home games over the years and it's a kick in the goolies to see it so diminished

Its not just us, look at the a-league victory used to get 50k to games.

Will be interesting to see where the afl is at so we can get a general sense of where victorians are at post covid

I reckon AFL will boom this year, and the rot for us pre-dates COVID, although it may end up being the death knell

Yep, forgot about that tackle.

Don't disagree on form comment, just think it's a bit of BS saying its a bad discipline record and suspending a player for a knock down. Seen a lot worse get away scot free and he misses a game for that. Surely this should be a case where the time missed on the field is enough of a penalty.
Surely the challenge the first yellow was a joke

Look I have been to more games of rugby than any other sport over the last few years. We suck and it’s a frustrating 80 minutes but I would hate to miss a match

That being said I have noticed the crowds getting smaller and smaller. It’s quite sad

He didn’t slap the ball, at the ground live it looked like Joe Powell played at the ball.

I admit I have watched it multiple times and it isn't entirely clear whether it is Hodge or Powell that hit the ball but the direction it goes, it does look like it was Hodge.

If it was Powell that played the ball surely they would have challenged it?

Lomani signs for Drua. I mention it here only because he was one of ours. I was a little surprised he didn't start the season with them.

Maybe he will get some time at nine instead of 14 with them.

Land Park was mowing the grass today. The Lang Park management was confident. Me, less so, but it's headed in the right direction.
It’s been announced it’s moved to the Sunshine Coast Stadium
