I think Tony has picked a team this week with next week in mind. When you've never won a game in RSA, it's not realistic to expect to win both, especially missing Sean, Jordy, Colby, Jeffo, and the rest...

On a side note, I was at the Tahs game last night. Kings were very physical and very niggly off the ball - we'll need to be ready for that.

I think TT has picked his team with his fingers crossed and one shoved firmly up his arse cos he's shitting himself and the other firmly down his throat like a gun - pull the trigger TT and step aside

Please tell us the ticket was free and included free piss all night to go with it? Otherwise I have one question? WTF were you thinking?

Also the niggle is the Tahs, they did it against the Rebels. Don't be surprised if the Kings don't niggle at all.

Big positives out of Sharks match.
1.Young front row did really well especially Lomax who looks like he has a complete skill set unlike most Oz props of the recent past .
2. I think English and Inman are playing very well in the midfield . Shame they get such crap service from the halves
3. Hodge continues to play with great poise .
4.Miller , quite a phenomenal debut . Clearly provides more value than Reid .
But how do the Rebs fit Miller , Colby and S Mac into the one team .If only we had this sort of depth in the row . Which brings me to the negatives !

1. Cummins gave away three absolutely brain dead penalties including a ridiculous no arms tackle that cost us three points . Not close to being up to it .
2. Geez it's sad to see how far NS and JD have regressed over the past couple of years . I reckon the lack of game smarts from our halves has cost us three wins this year . Tahs , Chiefs and Sharks .
3. Been said before but the lack of adaptability in our game plan is poor. We had a golden opportunity to make use of our numerical advantage against a team that was right off their game but we continued to just kick the crap out of it .

On balance though I actually see some very positive signs for the balance of the season especially when we get Super Mac and Toby Smith back

The decline in the NS / JD pairing seems to coincide with NS becoming captain. It is no shame to say you can't handle both captain and scrumhalf duties. Hand over the captaincy and concentrate on the Rugby.

At least that's my view...

So a few back this weekend :)

The Rebels are hoping for a boost ahead of the second-leg of their tour with an expected return of Colby Fainga’a, following the safe arrival of his new daughter, Dominic Day, Toby Smith and Marika Koroibete, who was a late withdrawal on Saturday with a back injury.

That is good news. I am hoping for a better outcome than our meeting with the Kings In 2013. This field goal killed me inside...
