How long until Sam Jeffries is back? He's been sorely missed this year, just as he was starting to deliver on his potential.

Also, Meehan & Pat are clearly on the shit list for some reason. Does anybody know if they played for Box Hill on the weekend (or in fact any Rebels who did)?

No one did last weekend due to the bye week, and then there weren't any comp games over Easter.

Meehan is moving on. Maybe Pat is too.

When you're having a bad season you may as well invest in your future.

i assume Leafa is carrying the can for one too many missed throws and one too many penalties.
Meehan wont get a haircut ;)

It's good to see Siliva getting a go finally and doing okay. Sio, Siliva, and Ala'alatoa are still Australia's best ever U20 front row.

Was Ala'alatoa really a member of that front row? 2011? Mike, I presume, but I would have thought he was a couple of years behind the other two.

But, otherwise, I agree. That was one of the U20s sides for the ages. {Pity they came up against a NZ side including Barratt, Cane, Shields, Retallick, Bird, Luatua, Anscombe, Perenara, Naholo, Piutau et al.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember who the 3rd was otherwise.

Paul Alo-Emile or Tim Metcher. Surprised you didn't remember the former at least.

And was Billy Meakes really a forward in those days? Colby, Hooper and Gill all in the same side. Now that was overdoing the No 7 spot a bit, wasn't it?

A highlight that always stays with me was Hooper running down the NZ winger (Naholo was it?) over about 60m to bring him down short of the tryline.

He played for BoP in 2016 I think, I remember the name coming up when I was keeping an eye on Shug Blake.

I seem to recall he signed for a French club out of the Rebels and then got cold feet and wanted the Rebels to buy him out of his French contract. Allegedly.

Did you know 27 of the Force 23 named last week were home grown? Whereas of the Rebels 23, -8 were from Victoria?

Performance of WA junior sides? Never heard of them.

You actually made me laugh in the office just then. awkward but worth it. haha.

Best thing to do in times like these is just laugh at some out the outrageous comments on one particular thread here. Its a combination of infuriating, amusing, etc. When i stop being amused with the conspiracy theorist pathological wisdom, i read the next few comments as if they were satire. Maybe i need to go back to my decision of not looking at that thread, but i get caught in the trap of wanting to know 'what next'.
