As there is no Rebels 2013 thread, I'm posting that news here
Richard Kingi is having contacts with the Racing Metro 92
I'm pretty happy coz it is the club I support and I like the player

What's the injury count right now for the Rebels? Is JOC (James O'Connor), Beale, Kingi, Cipriani all available for this week?

Is anybody else a bit miffed the Rebels are holding a Thursday night game in a couple of weeks?

I think it reflects a real disconnect with the local rugby community who obviously train on that night and I don't remember any other Super Rugby side scheduling a game on a Thursday.

My club didn't train on that Thursday night last year, due to the break. Most will probably take it off.

There's pros and cons of each night. As long as it's a mixture, I'm happy.

Yeah it's to take advantage of the Easter weekend, and observing the 'tradition-of-sorts' of no Good Friday sport in Victoria (mainly observed by the AFL).

I like it - training on Thurs is canned and our club will probably have an event based around the game instead.

As an aside, it's 11.30pm on a Monday, and Super Rugby Extra Time has just started on Nine. What a joke.

Hamstrings are the bane of our existence

JOC (James O'Connor), Beale and Kingi back though.

I'll take that trade

JOC (James O'Connor) to 12, Beale to 10, Kingi to 9 and Gerrard to 15? If they all last that will be some backline.

Unfortunately, in the cold and wet of Invergargill they are not going to get many chances. See Tah game from two seasons back for a look at the conditions Rebels will experience.

Not really, we're pretty much batting at our average this year. Full bays for the first two and half/0.75 bay against the Force, actually more than what we got last year.

I don't really want to blame the weather, because results would have played a part, but I reckon Thursday will see a good turnout, especially if they put up a good showing against the Highlanders.

must just have been that force game then and safe to say the weather diminished the crowd all round.

Expecting the biggest crowd of the season for the blues game and hopefully another bumper one for the crusaders. need to bring the average attendance up. its a fair bit down on last years.

It was a month later when the Tahs players there in 2010.

The Rebels will probably be lucky and conditions will be unpleasant tending to miserable as opposed to Antarctic.
