As long as the long term deals are for our elite or marquee players, I’m all for it.

Teams can get royally fucked over in long term situations, imagine offering Issac Henry a 5 year deal.

Also, what a sliding doors moment for Wilson in terms of his future. He was pretty much ready to walk away from Oz rugby a few years ago after missing out on Wallabies squads. He put the work in, made himself a key member of JS squad and now he’s essentially going to play his prime footy for the Reds/Wallabies.

Only ebitda profit though. A net loss though they may be the only organisation ever to have an actual argument for ignoring net results with that huge depreciation.
