i heard he had a lady in the room as well beyond curfew with no adult supervision and a hand gun made of plasticine that looked like the real thing that may or may not have been used in the great train robbery of which cooper is now being investigated as being a part of!

honestly who cares! maybe he has naked pictures on the lap top or something, i couldnt give a stuff about the lote incident and i dont give a stuff about quades, just let him play football, its not like he glassed his girlfriend and then got her and his mates to lie for him!

The more I read, the more I'm convinced that a MMORPG was involved. If only it were drugs. :'(

from SMH:
The resident found an entrance to his property damaged by forced entry, and then allegedly saw Cooper rummaging through his home. Police said there was no altercation between the pair.

I thought two chicks lived in the house? .. now he is rifling through some dudes laptop? .. sick fucker.

This is crazy.

The article seems to imply that he was arrested in the same yard that he stole the computer from? If so, how did the police get there so fast? Was Cooper passed out, using the laptop as a pillow? Maybe that is all he wanted it for - must have looked comfy.

If the police arrested him somewhere else, then how did they know who stole the computer, considering it is unlikely these international students would recognise him?

There must be a lot more of this story to come out.

Agreed. Everyone should stop jumping to conclusions until we know the full story.

This could be a monumental misunderstanding by QC (Quade Cooper) or a massive misjudgement on his part. Either way, none of us know the full facts. Let's cut him a bit of slack until we all find out what happened.

Are we allowed to comment yet TOCC? :lmao: :lmao:

The only person jumping anywhere here is Cooper hoofing it out the window and over a few fences when the Cops arrived. 4am ? he must have been on some sort of juice.. He could claim the jetlag was real bad, I guess.

P.S. That photo from the station is priceless.. Are we to assume that is what he was wearing when trying to rob some international students

you really are clueless arent you, i had a mate about 2 years ago who was charged with rape, he was going down on a chick and had a orgasm and then decided that she regretted what she did and accused him of rape. He spent $60'000 and had to get his parents to mortage his house just to have the case thrown out of court because if was total bullshit. It took over 12months of stress, he lost a lot of friends over it and his repuation and his career were ruined becasue they had caught wind of it.

Now im not saying this is similar to Quade's case, but what i am trying to point out that judging someone before they are found guilty is just stupid and naive.

Im going to put it out there that i reckon it was drink spiking, Quade went and got himself urine and blood tested straight after been released, now if that is the case, then Quade is really the victim in all of this, he had someone slip him drugs which affected his state of mind and led him to commit a crime.

What's the go with all the acronyms getting posted lately? If people are going to start posting acronyms can we please get some kind of dictionary thread stickied on the front page so people like myself who don't spend copious amounts of time on other forums can have an understanding of what the heck someone is saying.

Quite the opposite TOCC.. I'm not judging Quade for what he's done this week. Merely projecting forward the record of the past into what he's done now.

SMH this morning says Quade is claiming he can't remember parts of the night (I bet he remembers the capsicum spray and the ride in the back of the paddy wagon!) Even better he was at a Buck's Party,.. So your drink spiking theory is sunk unless he has some pretty lousy mates.

I don't think he was stealing laptops, nor do I think he was stealing anything.. .But he was beyond blind drunk, busted in someones door and then it was all downhill from there.. Now, I've done some pretty stupid things when I'm on it hard,.. but I can't say I ever broke into someones house... Pretty funny really, if it wasn't Quade.

As far as me being the Clueless one? .. that's pretty judgmental for someone preaching us all to not be judgmental. The ARU has previously taken the view that players should not be putting themselves in the situation where things can look bad, .. your mate, if we believe your side of the story, unfortunately put himself in that kind of situation too.. People can be innocent or guilty but in the end, the courts don't care, they go on what is the discernable truth,.. and if I was JON.. Quade is bringing his team mates and the organisation into disrepute. Simple as that.

How do you go from telling us we can't believe the shit we're reading in the papers to throwing out your own random theory without even some chinese whispers to back it up?

I'm going to throw it out there that Quade is a tosser and there's no lesson to learn for him here. I don't think telling anyone they can't drink works in any way whatsoever.. Given that he is usually an arsehole when he is drunk, plenty of stories to back that up, this is going to keep on happening. And that's all I need.

Back in the day, players used to get drunk and go running naked down the street, not breaking into houses and getting capsicum sprayed by the piggies. Fuck him.

IMHO Queensland rugby is going to get back into the winners seat with a more stable gameplan, Lucas and others should be able to provide that just fine, it's not like the QRU is losing their "messiah" ..

Lets assume that he is found guilty in the courts. I'm in two minds of what the ARU should do:

1. Kick him out straight away. He has a record of bad behaviour and this may well occur again.

2. Take his age into account, put him in an alcohol management plan and slap a curfew on him and give him one last chance.

I'm leaning towards no. 1 even though it will highly affect the Reds year. What does everyone else think?

Option #1 for me Scotty, although I am on the fence until the courts decide. They are serious charges, but like all these high profile ones nothing really adds up. :nta:
