Wow huge losses up front for Souths… Fourie to Brothers!!! WTF is going on at Souths, he was as Souths as they come.
He’s very good mates with Liam Fletcher. And they both grew up playing for Rockhampton Brothers.

So how long into the season do we give it before he's in the MLR with Liam?
I don’t have an inside scoop on that,. I do know Theo but I’m not in regular contact. I’m assuming there would be plenty of people on here with more insight on that than me.

Makes sense as his brother is there as well.
Sound like Souths are on the nose. All the issues at the club finally coming to a head now? Players leaving from all grades and a lot of the grand final winning Colts teams already left. It appears the sacking of Colts coaches was poor form, more so it wasn't necessary. Garrick obviously has to much power and hearing he's out of his depth, top that off with a board that won't pull him into line. Colts coaches put 3 years into that program, the results were there for all to see, two premierships in Colts 1 & 2 in 2024 and lost the GF in 2023. I'm told Morgan was DOR last year and sacked the Colts coach mid 2023, instead of embracing the colts staff he was threatened by there popularity and ability. Blind Freddie can see the situation the club is in now is due to that decision. Colts coaches were very popular with senior players as well. Quality of coaching in Premier team poor, players feel like there at under 12 coaching clinic. Sadly the game has changed and Garrick has missed the boat. Some hard decisions need to be made at Souths moving forward, it will take years to rebuild a Colts program and hard discussions on who should be Prem coach. History shows not all ex players make good coaches.

Board has allowed some poor form to go unpunished. Strong rumours Prems manager & Morgan put a bar tab on at rival hotel the night of the Colts winning grand final, sent internal message to all players to leave club house and join them, this was done out of spite to lesson and undermine the Colts celebrations. If this is true its a disgraceful act.

Players talk, hence the exodus of players and struggle to recruit, always a worry when a rep players leave and only been there for two seasons HMP etc.

All clubs strive to have an great colts coach program, Morgan appears to have destroyed a program and any momentum the club had for years, is he the problem?

easy to pick on Brothers since they're at the top of the list, but $600 to play what's essentially social footy for 99% of the club is fucked
