I think Wests will be too strong in both games. They are more aggressive in Colts and harder on the ball. Prem grade are out for revenge after being robbed last year. It’s a great day when the Filth lose.

Geez try to Brothers ball went forward at least a metre off the 12’s hands to James. Murphy completely missed it right in front of him. Quick try to Wests then a charge down of a conversion right in front. This game has everything . Then the brothers no 9 into the bin following Wrechon. Can’t keep up.

I actually thought he was pretty good, but got that call completely wrong. Live it looked a metre forward, on replay it completely confirmed my thoughts live. Murphy was looking straight at both players at the time. Probably his only really bad call all day.

Nothing screams sore loser / “I’m a shit fan” more than blaming the ref for your loss, x10 that if you’re campaigning for neutral or non-club affiliated refs in amateur club footy…

Wests have only themselves to blame for losing the GF - the two missed conversions cost them dearly. A couple of howlers from the touch judge stood out - Jame O'Connor losing the ball into touch and Brothers getting the line out, and other occasion the Brothers player clearly in to touch but not called by the touch judge. With a one point margin against Brothers and that particular ref with the whistle, there was only going to be one result. Michael Wood outstanding for Brothers. Best forward on ground.

come on now dude. Wests fans are a little upset for being screwed over 2 years in a row by dubious referee decisions.

end of day you gotta win on the scoreboard but shame on the QRU for assigning Murphy and even putting Damon in that situation where some people are going to cry foul.

Yes you have to make your conversions. Wests might of had another 10 mins of play or won depending if you hit those shots.

That’s what happens when refs officiate their old club. They ”miss” things…..
