No arguments from me OldBack, and I would not in the least be surprised if he were selected.

But, the back rowers mentioned previously all have the same resume. All played 1sts, playing for the U16 Reds in 2023 were Jack Randall, Bennett Armistead, Will Ross, Ed Kasprowicz, Oli Nasser and Gray O'Neil. Not to mention Bennett being named in preliminary U18 Aust squad, and Will Ross playing two games for U18s Aust last year in NZ.

Did Saia Poese leave Terrace.

Any new recruits for Terrace this year.
He did leave Terrace but there are 2 new imports from Terrace, the first is a second rower called hawk you would think I'm joking but no that is his name, and Max Schmidt new outside center from NSW hopefully will be as good as poese there are rumours his ankles are a bit fragile though.

I've seen this Max Schmidt kid play. And I'm telling you his ankles are far from fragile. Got a chance to witness his skills in a Waverly Rugby Colts 1 game. He's big, aggresive and loves to get the ball in his hands. I truely think he'll be a huge contributor to Gregory Terrace team in the 2025 season.

Any word on this new Terrace recruit Liam Farrelly from Marist I'm hearing that he is a mix of Rauluni and Armistead.

Are you sure Schmidt is from regional NSW? I know a few Schmidts in God’s country Inverell, but no Maximilians…

Quick question here… Is it time GPS lift the u16 age requirement to play 1st?

Cant see anyone from ACGS, Bris Grammer, TGS or BSHS.
BGS, have a hooker, scrumhalf and fullback/flyhalf that are coming up from u15 and have made the 30 man squad. BGS have also recruited a new center partnership, one from Auckland and a kid from Mackay. As well as a second row from Melbourne and a hooker from north Brisbane. Hopefully we will start to see a rebuild in their team this year and see them looking for a top 5 finish.
