walked past toowoomba grammar training today, thought i spotted Taniela Tupou, new prop by the looks of it, absolute giant. Made rhymen tusi look small, toowoomba grammar obviously spent some cash over the holiday break, heard that he’s from new zealand and he genuinely looks bigger than kingsley uys. rumours he broke the TGS gym record on his first day.

Ben Di Donna or Teina Graham won’t play. Most likely have Gray at 6 and move Nasser to 8. And ethan ramsay from TGS on the bench or Keegan Cook.

Hey Whisperer. Good list. I’d definitely include Ethan Ramsay in this team. His motor was massive last year. Interested to know your thoughts on 9. Not sure why you’re happy to have Will Graham as reserve, but not as your starter?

Swap Donovan and Hollyman and Gray over Ethan Ramsay and that’s a perfect team, also can’t forget Liam Robinson as a possible 16 as well as Kilarney Lavender for 23.

Hey QTT,

Had a yarn with my son, and he said the BGS boys have been in camp since last week, putting in the hard yakka. Heaps of last year’s crew are back, so they’ve got a solid base, and sounds like they’ve chucked a fair bit of coin into bringing in some gun recruits. Looks like they’re going all in for a big season.

Should be a good one to watch, mate.

BGS have potential with the likes of Dyer Akauola, Harper Enasio and Lincoln Dalton, however what they lack is structure and drive to succeed. 2024 BGS could’ve beat Gregory Terrace in my opinion, however they couldn’t play their best footy. If BGS want to get out of their slump and win a GPS game, they need to have a long hard chat about how serious they are taking GPS Rugby. I’d like to see how these recruits go though.
