Terrace won’t go with all of those 2024 U15 players you’ve named. There’s a few other 2024 U16s and 2024 seconds who are much higher up the pecking order, particularly after the poor results of the 15As this year. N Weir, Jackson, Clancy, Clifton, Murphy in the forwards for starters.

Yeah? Whats the go with Toowoomba's 150th year 'dream team.' Rumours are most of them are scholarship players bought with the coin from their Old Boys' Association.

I've seen things like this happen before, so I dont see TGS taking out the premeirship as you can put the best team together possible, but they'll tend to fall short against the dominators of the competition - Nudgee, TSS etc. Personally, I think this isn't the best strategy as it produces heavy procrastination on TGS' part. Almost thinking they've sealed the deal already.

But before you all think I'm talking crap, I must say, TGS' rugby program has improved signifcantly over the past few years. Prior to COVID-19 TGS was walked over almsot every game and season, by even some of the lower schools. But needless to say I still think they will put up a good fight, especially with a lot of big games on their own territory in 2025. Would also like to see Double-Take Sports produce a livestream similar to the one in 2023 for the NC vs TGS game. Brilliant Stuff.
Zero money from Old Boys association. Some key positional imports not all. Nudgee & TSS buy players better than anyone, to say they are just good because of their program is fanciful.

TGS fighting for the 150 dream next year and i think the goal is very possible, i think if they want to succeed they need to push their boys hard in the offseason and utilise the likes of tusi and rosemond more. A Year 12 dominant squad now for TGS with some fresh faces in key positions, I believe TGS can pull off the 150th miracle but there going to need some extreme hard work and a fresh approach to GPS rugby. Terrace also have their 150th however i believe they will be less competitive, whilst yes the likes of Nasser, Hollyman and Clifford are influential I don’t believe they have what it takes to take out the premiership. BBC are looking like the favourites to take out the premiership with IGS, BSHS and TSS not close behind. My dark horse is TGS to win it all and in schoolboy rugby anything can happen.

Based on returning and emerging players
Toowoomba and Southport to fight it out
BBC close and Nudgee with a very young side a chance
