I know he's only one player but Lincoln Dalton is playing well for the U16 Reds. Can't see BGS moving to 5th, unless they have a large intake of Year 11 students.
I don't disagree but they virtually have the same team next year and the same coaching stuff. How did that work at for them in 2024.TGS darkhorse!!
Same team as last year!I don't disagree but they virtually have the same team next year and the same coaching stuff. How did that work at for them in 2024.
Doesn't always work that way, but they have spent the money so we will see. One thing I will bet on is there seconds will be good.Same team as last year!
They will definitely be a threat
TGS are going to struggle with the keen outside backs in the comp this year. Notable mentions - Tom "The Bomb" Brant.TGS darkhorse!!
TGS key player Rhymen Tusi was having some issues as he passed through his security checks at perth airport whilst travelling with the Western Force U16's team. Not sure the severity of the problems however i do feel that this could disrupt TGS's beginning to the pre season as we know they were slow starters to the 2024 season. Also anyone got any information on the Ipswich Grammar rugby tour situation, are any key players in jeopardy of losing their position at the school?RR’s Predictions for 2025
1. IGS
Key players: James Grey, Hemi Rakuita, Tyson Walker, Lane Edmonds, Jack Calleja.
Strengths: Backline finishers - A La Walker, Grey, Rakuita, it will rain tries. Also, with one of the healthiest representations in the recent ERC, the Ippy boys look ready to make a run.
Areas of concern: Front row.
2. BBC
Key players: Tai Taka, Isaac Kefu, Jonah Wilde, Oscar Donovan & Tevita Loughland.
Strengths: Game managers.
Weaknesses: Outside backs - Taka moves into the centres to cover Howarth means BBC will need to find some finishers.
3. Churchie
Key players: Treyvon Pritchard, Austin Fletcher, Sio Kite, Tom Wood & Sam Williams
Strengths: Game managers - The Vikings will be spoilt for choice with Fletcher, Bowman, Noy and Underwood on their books.
Weaknesses: Centres & Tactics. The Vikings look very skinny in the Centres especially in terms of gain line exponents. Will the Vikings again refuse to kick in 2025?
4. Nudgee
Key players: Ethan Grimshaw, Bond Bradley, Aidan Luke, Isaac Rauluni & Jack Burton.
Strengths: Inside backs - what they lack in actual First XV experience they make up for in potential. Bradley, Poluleuligaga, & Mesritz.
Weaknesses: Backrow. Teina Graham staying injury free will be crucial to a somewhat small backrow Nudgee trio if he succumbs to injury in 2025.
5. BSHS
Key players: Angus Tagicakibau, Flynn Corbett, Laquan Afamiliona, Cyrus Suniula, Manasa Vunibola.
Strengths: Inside and outside backs. Spoilt for choice with Tagicakibau, Corbett, Afamiliona, Patea & Beals.
Weaknesses: X Factor in the forwards. How do you replace the likes of Siulepa, Langi and Picot? State High have some work to do to fill these massive losses, of which they will rely heavily on Suniula and Herniman.
6. TGS
Key players: Rhymen Tusi, Harrison Humphries, Ruben Kruger, Rupeni Baravilala, Keegan Cook
Strengths: Tight forwards
Weaknesses: Outside backs
7. TSS
Key players: Dylan Terblanche, Killarney Lavender, Sioeli Vea, Kingsley Uys, Agapetos Lote-Felo
Strengths: Uys & the Back row
Weaknesses: Game managers - Tom Goldie’s departure will leave a big hole in Southport’s territorial game.
8. GT
Key players: Sosaia Poese, Ioane Feaunati, Archie Ilott, Jeremiah Harbottle,
Strengths:
Weaknesses: Depth
9. BGS
Key players: Harper Enasio, Lincoln Dalton, Dyer Akauola
Strengths: Individual stars in Enasio, Dalton and Akauola
Weaknesses: Depth

Not sure outside backs will be TGS problem with the likes of Miles Qld Country Johnston Qld Courtry Davis Reds just to name a few. I would be more worried about the front row and 5/8 positions. But have been told more imports to come,150 years and money to burn.TGS are going to struggle with the keen outside backs in the comp this year. Notable mentions - Tom "The Bomb" Brant.

Same group of boys with a bit more hair on their arse is important. Big difference between 17 & 18 years of age.I don't disagree but they virtually have the same team next year and the same coaching stuff. How did that work at for them in 2024.
Agree with the difference between 17 & 18 but if you don't have talent at 17 you won't have it at 18. Especially if your coached the same way.Same group of boys with a bit more hair on their arse is important. Big difference between 17 & 18 years of age.
Gt key players? No Nasser (8), Clifford (12), Hollyman (2), Hales (9). Sorry just saw this and was questioning where you're coming from?!!!! Excluding arguably their 4 best players, apart from Poese. Also, TSS at 7th, with almost an entire 1sts team returning for 2025??RR’s Predictions for 2025

Off-season. Heard he's off on an early Christmas party in Bali sinking Milton mangos.Hey fellow forumists,
Just came on here to ask if anyone was aware of Quick Tap Tony (QTT) current status. I was surprised not to see him active in the 2025 forum the way he was in 2024.
