QLD GPS 2025

Jimmys chocks

Can't go past Eamon Mahoney's 2023 season. I wonder what he is up to nowadays. Matthew Ribot for the 2s in 2023 is also a shout for the greatest player to never play 1s.
I would also recommend watching 2nds 2024 player of the season Dom Webbers mixed highlight reel, consisting of both debating and footy. Truly moving stuff.

Nate barnett demoted back to the wing once again, how upsetting.
Nate Barnett back on the wing? Tragic stuff. To be honest though it might be the wrong move if you're trying to keep him quiet. The bloke's louder than a BBC mum at the head of river. Putting him on the edge just gives him more room to chirp.

Fun fact: he actually left the Wallaby nursery (Nudgee) in Year 9 to "pursue academic and rugby excellence" at BBC, which we all knew was code for, getting dropped to the 15B's and fleeing before he had to run water for the 15A's. Sources say he’s still trying to chase that Year 8 highlight reel.

Just on the downlands note. I'm interested to see what you guys think about, how other first xv play second rate teams against downlands. I believe it should just be another game, what do you think?
Never makes sense why GPS teams say they play there "2nds" when they are missing 1 or 2 players. Downlands themselves were missing there QLD prop Gavin against arguably the best front row in the comp. Just makes excuses because they get beat by a none gps school!!

I hope that he is looking good and your not pulling our legs. TGS pack looks strong though there large 8 i dont know his name but looked more dominant at the centres though. Dont know if he can keep his high intensity up for a full 70 mins.

just went and watched the downlands first XV training, star prop Gavin Wilson-Tyers is on fire and looking fit. reminds me of the days I played for the gryphons!! the tigers are going down.
yeah he’s as good as done when they play TGS cause he’s up against the Kraken. You haven’t heard of him yet but wait till this weekend against terrace, TGS unleash the kraken…

Know the Downlands 3XV are shaping up for a successful season, coming in with a solid pre-season full of skill and fitness.

Yeah cheers there Malc, word reached Nudgee that the 2024 star player Kolby Munro has since left school. Something about pursuing a career in beers and bags. I think the 3rds will find it tough without him, but they are known to rise to the occassion. Only lost to TSS because they were at the pub on Friday night I heard. Any further information regarding them would be appreciated

Looks like being a very wet track on Saturday does this change any potential results, who are the best mud runners ?
I think grammar forwards will dominant against the GT pack in the wet weather just with their size, however there is a few young unfamiliar names so keen to see how they perform.

i heard that the mighty muzz has been signed to BGS for his academic achievements and because the principle and him have a cuckhold relationship involving his wife.

mr healy please, can we keep on the realistic side, this forum isnt about keeping secrets.
6ft3 135kgs James “The Kraken” Tulikaki, bigger than Kingsley Uys, only 16 years old, broke the TGS bench press record in his first week. I’m eager to see him have a run for the first time against terrace.

16th of august the downlands 2nd XV take on grammas 2nd XV coached by matt of innovate air he has run the boys like they have never ran before and has built one of the toughest teams since I played schoolboy footy back in the early 2000s, i often reflect on my times spent playing for the gryphons and how our team went undefeated the whole year in 01, beating all the GPS schools comfortably, and the tikka that we showed especially when our captain john "the hammer" stanley lost his finger playing against nudgee. He got right back up and kept playing, we won that game 27-13.
