Same here GPS Wizard I guess at a big school like Nudgee depth runs deep with many returning 2nds players in the backline

I just wanted to come on here and say i love the relations i've built over these last few months on the forum. Rekindling old relationships from my TGS days and learning more about this years GPS rugby season.

I remember back in my senior year in 92, the refs weren't too keen on stepping in at all. We used to get in the mix of it one guy even got his teeth knocked out in an off field fight after the game vs Churchie. Games gone soft and I'm getting sick of it might have to have a conversation to the GPS board about the refs interfering with the games too often. Let the boys play, shouldn't have to hear a whistle every 10 seconds those things do me head in.

Never heard of him, you’re not a blue and white (slang used by low IQ schoolboys) are you?

Yeah cant quite remember how that play panned out (Think I got smashed in the ribs). Banjo was quite a good player, would have been interesting to see what team he would of made if he took rugby seriously in year 12.

I'm a Nudgee Old Boy, nothing gets me more excited than to see the might blue and whites take to the field

Yeah i was always curious of where he'd end up on his rugby journey. It's a shame that he derailed in his final year. Could've made it to the big leagues if he put in the hours.

Yeah i was always curious of where he'd end up on his rugby journey. It's a shame that he derailed in his final year. Could've made it to the big leagues if he put in the hours.

Yeah he played rep country footy year 10-11, don’t know why he stopped trying.

Just confirming its not cerebral palsy it was a brain injury, effecting the left side of his body due to a rodeo accident.

yeah he grew up in Highfields near Toowoomba but the wife wanted to move to Brisbane for some more opportunities for the young fella. what position is your oldest playing in the 14s

He’s playing in the backline he’s your traditional flyhalf, but the coach has him playing in the centres I’m pretty sure. Not certain, he’s a boarder so ill ask him next time I talk to him. What positions your boy?
