Geez WOB, that's a great write up about Brucey, and anyone who knows Bruce over the years will know how true that all is. I still remember him leading the Athletic team back into clubrooms when we won the Championship in 95, and of course Brucey had been around all day. He worked for years at Levana, and to this day has never remembered my correct name, always called me by my brother's name!!

When Mo'unga got called over to Brisbane Shag apparently said he'd be released for the SF if not required in the 23 but so far Cant'y haven't heard if/ when this will happen. Presumably they'll wait until tomorrow arvo in case Sopoaga or DMac don't make it through the captain's run.

Northland put up a good fight but in the end Wellington were just too damn good:

Big day of footy today with the remaining three M10 & all four Heartland SF on, the biggy being, of course, TMN v Buller in Levin. Must be some technical issues why it's not being televised:).

Lochore Cup SF:

Mid Cant'y 56-22 Poverty Bay
West Coast 24-14 North Otago

WC travel to Ashburton for the Final.

EDIT: but would be well-advised to get off the bus in Methven which is where the game is actually being played :).

^^^^^^^^^ there are many "nui's" ("many" being one of many possible, context-dependant, meanings :)) but THERE'S ONLY ONE NUA! So unique google translate can't even recognise it!

Yep you can have The Nua, or the Naki (Taranaki), or the Tu (Manawatu) but as WOB says you must know who you talking about. We want no confusion!
