who replaced him?..not McIntyreFair words, however, surely the lad replacing him is just as worthy of the spot.
Just read the Scots blog. Retire the keyboard Fred. If you could show one iota of grace ala Gristlechewer you might get to write another. But somehow methinks not.
I see Carter grabbed a couple. I suppose this will only perhaps serve to frustrate Jones more (assuming Carter stayed at 11 the whole game). Was it him creating chances, finishing off breaks, etc? Would be interested to gain perspective on what position everyone believes Jones would best be able to place himself in the game. Clearly full of talent, but I just don't see the King's system utilising him. Anyone at all of their games able to give me a good insight on this? Many thanks.
Thats a fantastic experience for all concerned! (even Nige)Interesting to see the referee for Shore vs Newington this weekend- Nigel Owens.
Hopefully should ensure the game is free-flowing, and complaints about the ref are kept to a minimum.
Hopefully.

Match Report : Newington vs. The Bye
One can't really see The Bye lifting from here with a tough round next week against View who, even with much reported injuries, should come away with the points!
.....snip....
Dear Wowsah, just went back and read your reply and you're right...how we got into that slanging match is beyond me...i might be becoming sensitive in my old age..i apologiseFair words, however, surely the lad replacing him is just as worthy of the spot.

trouble with grading is always trying to ensure there is no "bye" . so even numbers, and also working out if it is just about the 1st XV comp, or is more about across the age range depth, playing numbers, etc
oh well I guess .. that is why there is no easy fix
I would like to see something like
Division 1
Newington, Joeys, Riverview, Scots, Shore, Kings, plus top 2 CAS teams
and with ability of schools to be relegated to Division 2 or brought up to Division 1
oh well see what happens
Is that Buckling kid (from Shore) gone? I didn't see how he managed to do his shoulder, but it must have been one almighty blow, as his earlier tackle on Crichton was huge ..
