The evolution and devolution of the View backline this year has baffled many.
Clearly blooding year 11s for a big 2025 when the cattle was there to have a genuine tilt this season.
Post mortem of what could’ve been will take place regardless of today’s result.

They definitely got curtailed by a few key injuries but it’s not to say they would have won the comp in such an even contest overall. They had chances to win almost every game so that’s on them.

Hopefully the experience is good for them but the early season run away favourites this year (Scots) who brought back a lot of players were never in the true hunt for the title.

They are lucky the returning players come across positions in the front row, 7, 9, 10

Corker of a day for some Rugby.

Always tend to align with your comments @The Ghost of Raelene.
Hartman is a winger and the team was shaped around slotting him into 13.
I thought they looked their best against Newington and Scots in round 2 when the ball found its way to the wingers.

Some changes seem just for change’s sake.
Agree - zero assumption they would have won the premiership.
That middle period of losing 4 in a row cost them and changes could have been made earlier

Scots 3rds 29 tas 5 ft. Sadly only one Scots team came up
That is so disrespectful considering other schools send the teams agreed upon.
They provide great hospitality, excellent playing fields and a great BBQ.
TAS were on the road every two weeks.
I am so disappointed Scots decided it was too hard to equal the commitment TAS does many times.
