What is your fav finish to a Joeys v View game?

Mine is the 2020 game played at View (amazing!) when the View boys had the lead with one minute to go. Joeys had scored a try but failed to convert. View were up 7-5. At the kick off the Joeys boys had to go 80m and not make a mistake. If they did that was full time and View would have pulled off an incredible win which would be fully deserved. Then this happened...

What a great pump-up video from the View Boys to end the season. I have no idea how they managed to get two NRL superstars Fletch and Hindy to record an intro, and then to top it all off they managed to secure Phil Gould (Again!) to do the outro.

Never give up. Its why we love it @Joker. Did you see the celebration? Extremely humble, the try scorer puts his hand up to calm down the boys. True Joeys spirit.

I felt so sorry for the View 5 who kicked the ball instead of falling on it. It was the hardest game of the season. It took so much out of them that the final game played the following WEDNESDAY saw a very flat Joeys take on a very fresh Kings team who played a weak Shore where they rested many players.

Me too. Probably felt terrible about himself. No one is perfect, especially in the heat of the moment.

Here is my message to the Joeys boys

View attachment 20335

My message to the Shore lads.

It is a historic day tommorow. Many parents were not alive the last time something like this could happen. So for the boys, experience it. It's now or never.

To the players, play hard and the whole alumni is standing right behind you. Make sure those Scots boys send those bagpipes right back to the highlands of the Loch Ness.

Play hard, and bring it home for all of the true believers.

Tradit Lampada Vitai.
