Simone is looking good but City defence seems to be a little disorganised.

Jake Mack grabs some meat after Naisarani makes a great break.

Conversion missed. City 12 Rays 8

28 minutes. Naisarani being treated for an injury to his foot. He is having a strong game so far, and City would miss him if he went off injured.

Must be Opposites Day at Ballymore. McIntyre dives in and secures a turnover, pops it up to Talakai who punts it downfield with a great kick and chase. Possibly the best kick made by a prop since Dunno's drop goal.

Would agree Simone & Naisarani been most impressive this half but how good was Talakai's kick? Could teach Liam Gill a thing or two...

The more I see of Lukhan Tui, the more I like.

Opposites Day continues - Matt Lucas not only stops the City number 6 in his tracks in the collision but crunches him and drives him backwards.

McIntyre is actually a pretty decent player at this level. I wondered if his good performances last year were just a part of being in a team with so much quality front-foot ball, but even in this current iteration of City he's playing a much more positive style of rugby than he did with the Reds.

Really makes me think the Reds' coaching is the culprit, as it has been in so many other aspects of their game.
