Cam Roigard confident of being back in action soon:

Be honest I hope they don't rush him back, I know Razor seems pleased about him coming back in NPC, but really think I would like to see him just hang off until after xmas, just get it reall fixed.

So Leon MacDonald was on a 4 year contract and it all lasted 5 tests.

It's supposedly going to cost NZR over $100k for a settlement payout for MacDonald.

I'm not a huge fan of Leon and I think ABs are better off without him but it's a messy situation.

Razor has coached with Leon before - it's all very odd how it lasted all of 5 minutes before blowing up.

It is so shady it almost seems like some sort of nefarious collusion.

Razor: ".....yeah, yeah, I'll add you to the team on a huge 4-year contract and then pretend to fire you after 1 month, you get the massive payout, then you give me a 30% cut. Are we sweet?
Leon: "Fuck yeah. Let's do this. Ching ching m*******fucker"
Razor: "Go Crusaders"
Leon: "Crusaders for life"

tl/dr conniving cantabs at it again

A good summary here

Pathetic.

Whatever happened to that soppy "caretakers of the jersey" bullshit they keep chundering out?

Putting aside egos for the national good

"Razor told me I was his #2."
"I think you'll find I'm the #2"
"Youz is both wrong. I'm the clear #2"

"So I'm not the #2? Screw this, I quit."

Now I know what it was like for The Foreigners watching their sides play tests vs the old AB's in the Mccaw era.

Behind by 10, with 10 mins to go. The AB's got this. Red heads/Blue heads/Purple choppers, they will run these motherfuckers down.

Lose again on the weekend and the narrative is going to get grisly

"Soooooo, the new fresh bold young coach, unafraid of making the ruthless calls to get his Cantabs over the line 7 years running, has suddenly got the yips and relies on Fozzie's failed 'old heads' who repay his faith with repeated losing? WEll FFS YOU HAVE TO DROP THEM NOW DONT YOU? DONT YOU? THE FUCKERS WONT EVEN BE THERE NEXT YEAR. THEY'LL BE TOOLING AROUND THE BOG AND SNOT REC CENTRE IN BUMFUCK JAPAN IN FRONT OF 2 DOGS AND HALF A LOST PENSIONER

I wouldn't mind at all if Razor went with a fresh broom this weekend and we shipped 30 and lost. At least the ship would be moving and moving in the right direction. As opposed to being becalmed out off the Cape of No Hope, the listless tide eddying against its bloated briny hull as the aging crew chat sabbaticals below decks.

Anyway seems the tours between NZ and SA are a step closer , I am getting real hopeful as there has been meeting to get things started.

The All Blacks will once again conduct a full tour in South Africa in 2026, according to a report in South Africa.

Dubbed as the ‘Greatest Rugby Rivalry’, New Zealand will once again tour South Africa for the first time in 30 years, playing eight games in total.

According to the report by the Daily Maverick, the tour in 2026 will consist of four matches against the URC clubs, a fixture against South Africa ‘A’ and three official Test matches against the Springboks.

There will also be a fourth Test match, to be played outside of South Africa, but this will not be an outlier from the three Test series.

Springboks v All Blacks tour given green light

Reports initially emerged back in February that the resumption of the tours, which last took place in 1996, was a work-in-progress; but per these latest reports, they will once again become a regular fixture in the rugby calendar.

Speaking to the Daily Maverick, SARU chief executive, Rian Oberholzer, said: “I just spent two days with the New Zealand leadership in what we are calling the Greatest Rugby Rivalry.”

Justin Marshall: Where the Springboks have an advantage over ‘every team in the world’

“It’s a working title, although some people might say it is arrogant to say that,” Oberholzer continued. “We have signed a memorandum of understanding and we are in the planning phases now. We have a draft schedule that must still be agreed.”

“In principle, everything’s in order and the hard work starts now. We have to do ticket pricing, for example. We will probably follow the Lions model by starting around the coast, come back, play the Test matches – three Test matches in South Africa – and one out of South Africa before the series starts.”

A 6-8 week tour of SA, event of a lifetime for those selected. The adventures, the sights, the people you'd meet, the occasions, the connections, the history, and of course the rugby.

The tweaks to respective sides between each test, the speculation, the selection drama, all epic shit.....

.....as long as you're part of a competitive AB side. Lose all 3 tests and enjoy the flight back home morbid in the knowledge that your AB career is over before the plane even touches down back in NZ.

Are the ABs good enough to completely discard players after one lost tour these days?

I reckon Razors thinking has been "I'll stick with the half-hopeless old guard in the 1st year, if we win, I look good. If we lose, I slowly phase those '50% is fine' loser pricks out and by EOYT I've got my young guns in that I mold over the next 3 years into phase 2.0 of the Crusaders unbeatable murder machine."

Of course, if his young guns lose then it's onto even younger guns.....

.....and if the even younger guns lose then its the phone call he's already dreading having to make..............

"Hello, is this 'Hoskins Sotutu', he of the all-konquering Auckland Blues killdozer krush korp?"
"YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT IS, YOU MOTHERF*********"

Tony motherfucking Brown

“Tony [Brown] gave us a perspective on the All Blacks, which told us a lot about the things we didn’t understand. It makes us play better,” said Erasmus. “We always respected them, but now we have a better understanding of how they think, from the haka to their players and the make-up of their team and how they do things. “It’s quite amazing what he told us.”
Treasonous prick should be shot into the sun for this.

Was a it really worth it, to willfully sell your country out to their arch enemy for a small handful of silver?

This one's for DP et al. It's all ok bru, the reason the ABs suck at the moment as per Mils is that it's all Australia's fault.

So stop arguing amongst yourselves and put the boot into the Wobs while we're down.
