The All Starts Rugby League match and the Wallabies Jersey two major kind of teams/events really gets Kooga more out there. Canterbury is really running low in this country.

That's it, onerugby.com.au is one of many outlets who will sell the new Wallabies gear. They're currently "selling" them, however they wont ship till mid/late Feb.

I wonder why they made such a big deal about releasing it on Australia Day, then released it on the 25th, and now you can't buy them for a month. Strange.

it does sound a little familiar....click, pause...engage

Just a warning for tonight - the numbers on the new jerseys look stupid, so don't be suprised.

still looking forward to slightly more realistic jerseys without man bra's even if the numbers are stupid, can you buy the cotton jerseys anywhere other than the ARU website?

gold is too yelloni, green isn't as emerald as it used to be and is too dark. Other than that its fine, oh and needs a collar.

Is it just me, or does the new jersey make the fatties look even fatter? Ma'afu is a big boy, but he looked like a fucking block of flats tonight.

Haha good point mate, the new jersey looks like a bit of a failed experiment so far. The jersey is like a bright bright yellow, rather than a gold/yellow colour, and contrasted with the really dark green looks silly. Also the lack of gold on the socks doesn't help this.

And I'm sure Ma'afu and Benny Alexander will be parading around the dressing room going "Does this shirt make me look fat?".

well, I for one thought the numbers were great. Looked like our mighty 1984 numbers.

The jersey gets a pass mark from me. As you can see from the picture above, it is still far too yellow. God knows whose idea it was to change the jersey from gold to yellow (Reebok?), but it's something that should be corrected ASAP. And the numbers are too small and make them look like soccer shirts.

I think part of the idea is that the jersey changes into a darker shade of yellow, more like the optimal gold, when it gets wet. It sort of seemed to work on some of the jerseys, I think we'll need to wait until the Wallabies play in New Zealand to see if it really works.

The small numbers might be fine on TV, but at the game I imagine it would make it harder to read the numbers on the back, especially if you are sitting on the 2nd tier at Suncorp Stadium.

I like the jersey, and I also like the size of the numbers. It's a traditional look. The shade of yellow is in line with the rest of australia's sporting teams. The old one was like custard.

Except the One Day strip for the Cricket team, and the Kangaroos jerseys.

The numbers weren't bad. I thought the reds ones this year were hard to read, the 6, 8 and 9 all looked the same, maybe it was just my boogle eyes.
