He was injured for a bit, has had 2 games from the bench and 2 starts, averaging about a half a game. I'd love to see him signed to one of the Australian sides, I thought he had a great 2023 and I've been excited to see how he develops.

Wilkin is a disappointing one as the longer it is the more likely it feels like he's off overseas. Would have liked to have seen hi around the Aus A games.

I doubt it. I believe they sign a new contract once they agree to terms with a new team. Some may have an out allowing them to re-sign with the Rebels if they wanted to in some circumstances, but on the off chance the Rebels were to somehow make it back in for next year it's very unlikely they'd all default back to the Rebels. Guys that have headed overseas in particularly would be gone. Even if they did get back everyone still on contract and in Australia that would still leave them missing something like half a squad with little hope of finding players to ready and able to fill those spots.

I'm not sure how accurate that article is - it also has Pone Fa’amausili to the tahs when he has signed with Moana.
