Rules #1 You can only pick 3 players from every current super 14 squad to join the Rebels on the basis that it improves the depth of the Wallabies & doesn't weaken the Super 14 team they are departing.

#2 Pick any overseas Aussie who is coming off contract & will be available for the Wallabies & Rebels in 2011.

Reds- Ben Lucas, Dunno? & Dunno Yet?

Tahs- Mckibbon, Adam Freier & Al Baxter

Force- Tom Hockings,

Brumbies- Stirling Mortlock, To'omua or Leali, Mitchell Chapman.

I'll have to think about the rest.

I wish the rebels dont have a purple or blue jersey, we will have enough of those in the aussie super 15 conference.

Reds:
1. Kingi (he will never get a start behing genia and i think he'll be bloody good in a year or two)

Tahs:
1. Barnes (Halangahu so far looks better at 10. Althought its only been 2 games. Barnes will be good poster boy for the rebels too so it will help out both clubs provided halangahu doesnt get injured.)
2. A winger Mitchell/Turner. They got nadolo in reserves and im keen to see how he goes at super 14 level.

Brumbies
1. Lealiifano or To'omua. Both players i think deserve a starting spot but held hehind gits. If To'omua goes Gits 10, Leal 12. and if leal goes To'omua 10, Gits 12 for the brumbies. I wouldnt even mind if Gits goes to the rebels leaving To'omua 10 and lealiifano 12.

Force:
Dont think they can afford to lose any players.

Ideally im hoping the Rebels will free up some spaces so Lealiifano, To'omua get regular starting spots. Also hopes it frees up some space so the likes of kingi and Nadolo can fight for a starting spot cos atm they will never start behind wallabies.

At the rebels i wouldnt mind if they snatch up Barnes and Gits so they can work on they're 10. 12 Combination. Doubt it will happen but a nice backline that is highly likely and wouldnt be a big lose for the other clubs would be 9. Kingi 10. Barnes 11. Mitchell 12. Lealiifano 13. Turinui 14. Gasnia 15. Cipriani.

whoops just noticed kingi isnt avaliable. So lets go with Lucas and then when kingi comes off contract send him to the rebels. Should work out well cos then he'll learn a bit off genia.

My wishlist would be exactly the same as noddys except swap Halangahu for Barnes. The reason ? He's just as good at 10 plus i still find it weird seeing Barnes in a tahs jersey.

Ok i'd like to see Gasnier, MMM (even better at the Reds), Chris Latham, Daniel Heenan, Mark Gerrard, Scott Daruda, Rodney Blake, Julian Salvi & Dan Vickerman all back in OZ next year wether it's with the Rebels or another Aussie side.

Any other we'd like back for 2011.

The Melbourne Rectangular Stadium has green seats. Sooooo it wouldn't surprise me if they wear Green Jerseys, no other S14 team wear green jerseys. However might conflict with the new refereeing strips.

Firstly, sorry disco, i know this isnt really what the threads for, but i thought a new thread about jerseys was a bit too far.

Id like to see a green jersey, something eye catching without goin over the top (like Stade Francais). But, if they choose to stick with the ARC Rebels jersey, its going to be white and dark navy blue stripes.

smart to go with something very different

My wish list is that their creation give us more rugby of high quality. That they don't screw any other teams over doing it, and that their foreign players contribute to the culture rather than just do it for the money.

...

...

and that they lose to the Tahs always

on top of the rebels surely the Force have to be going all out in recruiting, they still have several positions not really long term filled.

Bring Back Sonny Bill.

I forgot about that guy. Bloody good league player, I wonder how he's going in France?

Not half bad. I saw about three Toulon games this season. He uses his arms in the tackle now but still holds the pill in one mitt.

He'll be okay but nothing flash.
