I think that Oakhill will either go with Jack Taylor Hannify or Cyrus Bloomfield in that now-vacant spot and then bring in a winger such as Max Gioiello or Tom Halmarick.

Taylor Hannify played #12 for ISA 2 in the Schools Tournament while Cyrus Bloomfield played #13 for the U16 Waratahs last year and ISA Black this year.

Gioiello started at #11 in the very first game against Barker in Term 1, but since has only played one game in the 2nd's vs. Shore where he injured himself and hasn't played since. Halmarick started the Year at #15 before being injured and inevitably replaced by Feltham. But he did start on the wing in the most recent game against Stannies as Bloomfield was unavailable due to sickness.

Congrats to all ISA players that made the NSW SCHOOL U16. Noticed Cyrus Bloomfield, Samuel Polley, Darcy Feltham, Flynn Farrell not in list so can only assume they have gone through to the next stage, NSW U16 Waratahs.

I also believe that Oakhill 16As and ISA Black #10 Callum Spooner has gone through too. He played #10 for the U15 Waratahs last year, so no surprises here.

Disregarding that, the Auggies and shore teams are completely new from the 2022 sides so I’m not sure what value that scoreline has to Saturdays game. Auggies are undefeated this year and after beating Joeys earlier this season, I would think they are favourites going into this fixture however it should be a great evenly matched game.

Oakhill will face Cranbrook in a trial match this Friday. Many Oakhill players participated in representative football over the holidays, resulting in a somewhat altered team list due to various injuries. However, it is anticipated that neither team will be at their absolute peak strength.

Nevertheless, it is certainly thrilling to have Rugby back in action after a hiatus.
