For an announcement billed as "The future of Test Rugby", it is fairly insulting to anyone who isn't NSW. Two tests in Sydney each year, if we are lucky over here in WA we might get to see the Wallabies play Japan in 2018.
Last Lions Test in Queensland was at the Gabba. Very bad memories.
Etihad. MCG will never be used in the near future. ARU are hell bent on it.lions test will no doubt be Suncorp, ANZ, MCG i would think.
this time round it wont be qld we have to worry about crowd wise. that was shocking.
i was there, it was actually a pretty impressive sight, apart from the fact the Wallabies lost

What happened?

In 01 Suncorp was under construction, hence the use of the GABBA.
Was exactly like that at the ground. We got a lesson in rugby, Supporting your team and partying afterwards. Hopefully they won't be able to come en-masse like they did back then.see of red singing jerseys drowning out any wallaby support (on the telecast at least, might have been different in person)
Try arguing that with them, they didn't seem to care when I raised it some time ago, especially considering they are cash strapped. The ARU defies logic, surely you'd know that by now?lions tour is once every 12 years, can see them trying to sell out the MCG, 50 thousand v 100000 is an easy issue. will be alot of travelling fans to.
They'll certainly find it a different situation this time around, don't you worry. Was exactly like that at the ground. We got a lesson in rugby, Supporting your team and partying afterwards. Hopefully they won't be able to come en-masse like they did back then.

If a part of the ground's swathed in red, so what?
