The bomb close to the line is not a skill we see much in Oz rugby. Our inside backs are more familiar with stupid chips and grubbers at inopportune times.aussie1st said:Outside center would be his spot, not quick enough for the wing spot in Union. As long as the bombs are pin point we should be seeing quite a few tries from bombs.

Initially I thought the story on Folau signing with the Rebels was another News Corp sensational beat up.
However it appears to be gaining legs and perhaps a smigen of credability.
Has any one heard any rumours or word on the street?
Folau's decision is understood to be based around lifestyle as much as money. The Herald believes he stands to earn just over $600,000 a season with the Rebels, with the ARU providing $100,000 to top up a base salary of $140,000. The rest of his income would comprise third-party payments, which are understood to total about $250,000, and match payments of $6000 for every Super 15 game.
He could also earn $12,000 per Test if selected by the Wallabies.

wow! Bargain I reckon. ARU only pays $100k? Deal of the century. Well not quite, but bloody good.
his PR value in Melbourne alone would be worth double thatLangthorne said:yeah - $100000 for a guy who has never played the game (ie he lacks essential skills for playing it), from an organisation (the ARU) that has a $279000 defecit for the year- bargain.
