With Danny Cipriani's antics surfacing yet again, the time is right to unveil what I would term the Scumbag XV.

JOC (James O'Connor) is a very young guy with a very large upside, it bothers me greatly that he is always around people with reputations of trouble and problems and that there are constant rumors about him holding himself above teammates and this around him. I wanna give him the benefit of doubt, but I just don't believe he wants fir a team and nit fir himself. Maybe it's generational and I'm just getting ok'd and out if touch, he just seems like a very har guy to like to me.
Sitting near Rod McQueen at the last home game, I was astounded when one of the Rebel Directors publicly berated the World Cup winning coach a couple of times. I'd be surprised if he was around next season. For a bloke who had a reputation as a winner to suffer this, why would you bother?
And if the rumors of Michael Cheika coming to town are true, Hill and some of the assistants will be back at Sydney Uni next season.
he scored a great try agains the sharks, set up kingi's try against the force and kicked a penalty (which was a ridiculous call) to win a game. His had his moments on and off the field. At least he got on the field for a decent period, contributed significantly, more than I can say about Rocky.
some players are great like digby, mccabe, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Genia. but even genia and mccabe, as you point our, are so young.
they wouldn't hurt from having a few older heads in the back line...or at least in the wallaby camp.
Berated him how?
As you point out, those are memorable moments. He has played a significant role in the team, it has been noticeable.he scored a great try agains the sharks, set up kingi's try against the force and kicked a penalty (which was a ridiculous call) to win a game.
that ends this list of what he's done on the field (positives) - should we begin the negatives on and off the field?
he's a talented player with diminishing potential. i say diminishing because he is now what...24/25? time to grow up before your best days are behind you and you're just a could have been.
unless he picks it up - he's no chance of replacing farrel at 10.
just cause he was a rebel, doesnt mean he needs to be defended. he brought in headlines and that's about it. he was absolutely sh!t in defense.
That sums it up in a nutshell. Apparently it is always someone else's fault with these guys.Cipriani failed to impress at his club Sale Sharks last season, also encountering off-field stories again, most notably when he was hit by a bus in Leeds on a night out. ‘I don’t know who advises him or whatever, but what a shame if he doesn’t fulfil his potential,’ Lewsey said.
I love this line from the rugby news today:
