Absolutely vital for Melbourne. I'm hearing crazy shit coming from down there, and he's one guy never far from it

Quality 10 (at times). Will be missed, unfortunately I think this decision speaks a fair bit about his character.

I hope Sale have stocked up on a big box of Snap-Shifts to find the golden centre in the brown, nugget-shaped delight that is Cippers. The rest of the squad will get RSI snapping away.

Good decision...

If he has agreed to go elsewhere, then allow him to go. Allows the team to concentrate on what is ahead of them without concern for someone who will not have the same level of vested interest in the results.

He must have had a great lawyer/agent to get a contract that got him payed for this year. Regardless of the talent, any man that breaks up with a mrs that looked like his to move to Melbourne should really have there motives for life questioned.

Most seems booze related - allegedly;
  • Players fighting each other, pissed
  • Players getting on the piss in Canberra after the match, having been instructed not to
  • Famous players turning up to training, pissed
  • Famous players blowing up if they get tackled in a contact session, causing other grafter players to ask what the fuck they're all doing there
  • Venerable 'injured' names in Australian rugby refusing to play, as they don't want a bar of it
There is a group of players keen to graft and make it work - you'll be able to guess their names - but also a clique of stars whose voices seem to be heard.

There is other stuff that is just too hot to print.

I have great concerns about all this, because how long can you see Hazza poking up with a franchise like this? If he goes (and he can after 3 years) the ARU will not step in - it can't. We not only lose a talent pool, but look like absolute turkeys as the Saffas take the franchise with glee. Not good.

On top of all this I hear QC (Quade Cooper) and Cheika are dead keen. Go figure

Oh my god... I've just realized Gagger is really Greg Growden... ;)

3x Gs in Gagger... 3x Gs in Greg Growden... Coincidence? Hmmmmm...

I'm stunned who would have predicted that Danny wouldn't see out his 2 year contract? I mean after being signed as the Rebels first payer he then wasn't sure about coming over, then he had 'visa issues' and arrived late missing the Rebels first training camp in Lorne, then he nicked a bottle of vodka and was suspended, then he went on the piss with Kingi, then the players voted to drop him and he missed the tour to South Africa... Anything I've missed?
I have to say Sale must be wetting themselves with excitement...

I worry that Quade is good bloke who has a side to him that is always ready to "go off". Link, Horan and his mates at the Reds are a stabilizing influence and he is a top bloke giving a lot to his family and team. Put him JOC (James O'Connor) and Beale together in Melbourne away from stabilizing family and friends, they may as well keep their clean clothes and toothbrushes in the tank because the cops will be picking them off the streets every night.

Am I a long from the mark?
