I wonder how long Fainga'a is out for because I don't thin replacing Hooper with Vaea helps in these kinds of games..
Anyways, pretty happy with that same XV to start next week...
That game plan is pure Jake White and in truth it plays to the Brumbies strengths; but there has to be a bit of dessert to go with the meat and potatoes.
For the 20 mins Vaea was on he was also impressive. Vaea though is an damn good No 8 and it would be stupid not to use him as such. Move mown to 6I thought Hooper had a very solid game tonight, his mobility was outstanding, contest at the breakdown excellent and defence top notch. Certainly one of the better Brumbie forwards.
Sorry guys, for me it was yet ANOTHER snore-a-thon involving an Aussie side. Really surprised the Chiefs skill execution level dropped to the level of the Brumbies.
I went to the Tahs v Force 2 years ago at SFS. Was without a doubt THE most boring night of my life.........I fear for the game tomorrow night!
How do you relate a game played 2 years ago by two totally different sides to the one played tonight?
Personally, and many of the pundits on the boards here, feel the game tonight was quite enthralling. I would love to hear your reasons as to why you thought the game was a 'snore-a-thon'.
I smell troll. Either that or someone who thinks that tries are the only way to judge the entertainment factor in a game of rugby.
Um so the the fact that he stepped in and smashed the 8 position last year and that he was rookie of the year for the brums makes him an impact-on-the-bench- player - you must need glasses !Vaea does some good things, he is a very good player, but 7 no way. I can't think who I would play him in front of, Mowen and Fardy much harder working, and Kimlin should stay in 2nd row. I think he is an impact bench player until an injury happens
