Has anyone any ideas about the current injury concerns of the various teams? Who is out and when they will be back in? I think that injury and depth could be a deciding factor in the make-up of the ladder for this year's comp...notwithstanding some of the results of the first round.

I totally disagree with you. T Cipolla ran rings around your barker forward pack, was at every break down, and his lightning quick speed gives him the versatility to play any position, from front row, to back row and even in the outside backs. I would not be suprised if this unearthed gem sneaks a spot into NSW schoolboys and possibly AUS squad

the platform is set from the front row is it not well it certainly was in my time and Waverley seemed to field an impressive domination of a highly rated barker team at scrum time and the breakdown only worrying sign was there lack of depth at the lineout. It will be interesting to see how these perceived "softies" play against clearly an impressive trinity squad the key match up of Ingram- Melsom and Sio sure to be a fierce battle

Can anyone supply results for Trinity v Cranbrook 13A, 14A, 15A and 16A matches at the weekend? I compile an unofficial CAS website which includes 1st and 2nd XV competitions) and which I'm happy to share with all on this forum, but I just need those results so that tables can be updated in time for them to be useful to all concerned.

happy to share. It started out as just something i provided to the MICs of rugby at each of the schools, but i see it had a couple of thousand hits last year, so what the heck. Just bear in mind that i'm still chasing results from the Trinity v Waverley games in the age group divisions. link is www.cas2011.leaguerepublic.com. I'm totally dependent on the cooperation of the MICs ... unless i can get help elsewhere.

You must obviously be a Waverley schoolboy because a lot of the Waverley forward pack are lazy and definitely didn't beat barker in the forwards, they are lucky that their 10 and 15 had excellent games and the backs defence was solid.

I have heard that Ingram-Melsom has a broken hand and won't be playing against Trinity. Waverley to lose by plenty!!!

I thought Oli Nicholson played 3rd Colts last year and to my knowledge hasn't played colts for the beasties this year. Correct me if i'm wrong!!! Also i don't believe Nic Rogers actually played reps for Qld.

Ha-ha the only reason barker appeared to dominate in the rucks was because of their illegal sealing off of the ball and their diving over the top which was not penalized on numerous occasions. In addition, Ingram-Melsom was playing against barker with a broken/fractured hand, so if anything Waverley will be stronger without him this weekend and his one handed flick passes off the fringes of the ruck, chip and chases, not to mention the one armed clean-outs and tackles and the inability to bind in the the scrums, lift and jump in the line-outs as-well. I will not correct you for ur correction of my comment because you are in-fact correct. I don't believe waverley will lose by plenty, because this week they will be playing with 8 forwards against 8. Rather than 7 forwards vs 8 +a referee. But i guess we will see this weekend wont we. On another note, why have 12 of your 16 posts in this forum been specifically on Waverley? What is your connection to the college?

This is going to seem like a bit of a joke, but to all those who may have clicked on the above link ... would you believe its www.2011cas.leaguerepublic.com ... the other one is mine, but it was a failed first attempt for this season and i had to start again. grovelling apologies to all. By the way, still need Trinity v Cranbrook results for 13A, 14A and 15A. please help if you can.
