I think Barker also did well, shame Knox don't attend.
A good fitness trial really.

That approach would have seen Donaldson (a 10 selected at 15) miss out on ASB altogether or at least on a starting spot WLF. Do you think that would have been the preferred outcome? Most players by Opens can competently cover more than one position and it can make sense to ‘plug and play’ where this results in the best players on the pitch provided you don’t end up with fish out of water.
What about Ben Yates from know. Watched him last week big unit hits hardLots of good input.
We will struggle for 10’s maybe this year?
We were pretty lucky with the two we had in 2017! Can neecessian play 10?
I like the idea of playing Moretti in the second row, because it opens up the chance for More backrowers.
But know Flaherty is a handy second rower.
Will be tough for the selectors!

Got a predicted Waves 1st XV side?
I respect your opinion C&P,
But in that particular case the selectors knew and chose to ignore a 9 and 10 combination, I won't talk about the Waverley 12 (that treatment was disgraceful), who had not only played together for years at school but also Randwick junior rugby.
That combination defeated all in front of them both at school level and rep level (CAS).
As soon as the NSW1 on-field team fiasco happened, the NSW 1sts lost and then so did the Aussie schoolboys.
Of course there was no guarantee we would have beaten a very good NZ team but we never looked like it, and we had already had a dose of fooling around with players in specialist positions, in the NSW 1 side.
To be honest I don't think it's a matter of me protecting Waverley, I would advocate this in any other situation.
Picking people in odd positions, to get them in, has been going on for years now at Aussie schoolboy level and it is also co-incidental that the Aussie schoolboys haven't won for years, but probably not the only factor.
Many people I have spoken to agree with what happened last year, and I don't think players are at their best when they are playing out of position, for obvious reasons.
Just my opinion.
there is no nsw U/15s
you missed a few nsw 16 reps there
jordan cameron (B)
Malachi Hawkes (T)
Three more that I can think of that played for NSW at Southport School in 16s National Championships. Will Kablau and Oliver Hughes (K) and Ben Pollack (A).Updated and fixed- thank you.
Are we missing any others in the list?
