That was clinical. The Brumbies had control of the game at all times.

And now I find out Lealiifano is gone. Oh no. Bad news for the Ponies, and the Wobs.

Edit: I really hope it is not serious. It would be an absolute tragedy if he was badly injured.

Never like to see a player get seriously injured no matter who they play for. Hope it's not as serious as it looked.

Well played Brumbies, deserved winners. Tahs cannot blame injuries. The Brumbies have group of relative no-names yet they are topping the Australian conference. The Brumbies were a much better coached side. Not just Foley vs. White, but Larkham/Gregan beat Gaffney/Bowen. Nick White had a blinder, he has an incredible boot.
I thought Barnes played well, just the backline weren't helping him out. Carter was AWOL and Kingston is not 13 at this level yet. He does not pass. Pakalini and Betham had decent games. Timani Jr and Mumm had good impact when they came on but the games was lost in the Forwards, Moore and Hooper had great games.
The send off of Mowen with 5 mins to go was ridiculous, a player should have been sent off earlier IMO.
Poor form by the crowd to boo Elsom. Appears to be a nasty injury to Christian. Who will play 10?

Jeez that's terrible with Lealifano. Looks like a season ender.

Right on the last move of the game.

Reminded me of Brussow last year. Someone fell on his leg after the final whistle blew.

After That,The only thing left the tahs have to look forward to this season is PLaying the Reds at Home.:)

Yep, agree with p tah.
Honestly, if the Tahs had even half a clue how to attack, they'd be right in this comp. but they are so pedestrian - too deep, too lateral and too slow. And too many of their players just cannot or will not pass. Defence becomes very easy if you know what the player won't do. Barnes often, and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Kingston and Carter ALWAYS. Just fucking shithouse. Made good yards with pick and drive and close big runners, but none of the backs pose a threat. At all.
Brumbies look very good, but that shocking injury to Lealiifano opens a can of worms for them. Damn.

Just waiting for the soon-coming roll call of excuses for Tahs 2012, version 206a. When it's great to have injuries to mask the inner truth.

One day, the revolution will come. Then the Tahs potential will be realized, not before.

Awsome win for the Brumbies but just plain meloncoly after the Lilo injury.

Brumbies are just so fit and composed. Tahs quite frankly no match for them. They got punished for fading in and out of the game as they so often do.

I haven't been able to watch the game, but it sounds pretty devastating about Lilo..

We have the bye next week so st least they have an extra week to work out a contingency plan...

It's a shame as Lilo deserves a Wallaby jersey, and now it's given Deans a justification to pick someone like Beale...

Rocky got booed? Boo hoo to him...

I was worried at the start of the game, Thought the Tahs looked strong, had so much possession, but what do u know.. good old Tahs just cant seem to be able to create anything.
Lilo > Barnes (lets pray for the wallabies sake it is not a serious injury, if so Beale is the only option IMO, and Barnes to 12)
Hooper great game again, hope Colby can step up next year once he gas gone.
Tomane - looking very dangerous, think i even saw him with a pilfner - which is impressive for a league convert.

Very well done Brumbies. I wonder who will take the 10 jumper without Lilo or To'omua. A great shame for Lilo as I thought he was a shoo in for the June Tests.

Tahs, well as I said in the Tahs 2012 thread this shows up the rubbish that is the Waratahs game plan and application. The Tahs forwards had partity or bettered the Brumbies for large periods of that game which is shown in the possession stats. The Brumbies however kicked accurately and passed the ball to players who were actually moving forward. I do not understand why Betham is in team, yes he can run with the ball and beat a man, but his defence is poor and the Tahs seem to want to base their game on defence given they kick the ball TO the opposition so much.

I can't say I enjoyed seeing the Tahs go down again but as with last night's Rebels game I enjoyed the execution of the Brumbies tries.

Elsom shouldn't be surprised by the crowd's love for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the same reaction from the Tahs supporters as well, Oh wait seems that might already be the case when McCheat gets a better reception than the Club Captain.
