I reckon Waratahs by at least 12. The Tahs have a very dynamic pack and, line-out concerns aside, have too few weaknesses.

As a Tah fan I am slightly confident heading into this game. There's a lot of talk surrounding the Tahs line out but none surrounding the Brumbies scrum. Tahs will pick apart the brumbies in that area having pushed around both the Force and Reds scrums with 7 men.

Also the physicality of the Tahs pack after the bye could blow the brumbs off the paddock. Bodies are rested and I think Douglas and Palu will be out to have big games against Mowen and Fardy.

IMO the start of this game will determine a lot. The brumbies need to start well either putting points on or minimise another Tahs fired up start. That way they can grind away (a lot of high percentage set plays and field position). They are not the best at chasing the game and I don't see them scoring more tries than the Tahs.

32-15 Tahs

I have no idea what is going to happen, but the break down will as usual decide the game.

The Tahs have been flying in on offensive rucks, but with less units, so accuracy and anger are their key requirements.

But I expect to see the ponies flood the breakdown when the is any hint of a Tahs player being isolated

Hey I want to buy 7 tickets for the game. Can someone tell me what type I should get for best atmosphere and a decent view. Cheap is good too. Also would I have any issues buying 7 at once
Best atmosphere is up the southern end. The Ruckus crew sit up this end, and it's a GA area. It's where we sit. Not the greatest view, as it's behind the goalpost, but you have the big screen up the northern end. I think tickets are about $20-25, and it's first in best dressed. I don't think you'll have any issues buying 7. Skyfire is on Saturday night so I'm guessing you'll be able to walk up and buy them.

Big game for the Tahs on Saturday, in fact could be an era defining game. The Tahs need a win away to a top 6 side under Cheika. Last season we saw a couple of near misses any they need to put them to bed. Sure we could still make the finals regardless of the result but if we go onto to win the bloody thing this could be the game where people look back and say that's the day the Tahs arrived as a team capable to winning the Super 15.

Its going to be a dogfight in the back, Brumbies have the upper hand at the lineout but the Tahs have a back line that can score from anywhere. Going to go for Tahs in a squeaker 17-15.

If the waratahs forward pack get a roll on like they did against the reds, then this game will be over in 30 minutes. The Tahs forward pack are real stars of the rugby juggernaut Chieka has created, as without them constantly over powering the opponents the Tahs backline would struggle.

Although they have performed brilliantly thus far I don't think players like Beale, Alofa and Betham can really stump up the goods when the forwards are stagnant. Which is the case with most backline, but in saying this I feel that parity is reached up front Speight, Kuridrani, McCabe are more likely to punch holes from a standing start than their opposite numbers.

Realistically the Waratahs can get away with a backline brimming with octane and scraping for graft as their forwards are so ruthless and powerful and thus far have received little resistance. While the brumbies forwards aren't as dynamic as the boys in blues, something needs to be said about their work as a unit to do the shitters and attention to detail when it comes to set piece and breakdown.

I am backing brumbies by 3, if the game is slowed down to the brumbies pace I can't see the tahs backline handling a dockyard brawl style of game. If they do however I am willing to back them as the real deal.

Yep. Tahs don't want to be in a kicking duel, either for goal or for position. Goal-kicking is our biggest weakness, but we also lack a long, accurate boot that can shift the flow of a brawling game.

Wow, anyone else here find it hard to believe some of those listed weights for both teams?

Weights are notoriously wrong but some are just wack. There's no way Alexander is 120kgs. Power at 116 seems 5kgs too heavy. Robinson seems 3kgs too light at 112 and pretty surprised Hooper is able to crack the 100kg mark.

Alexander's 6'3" so it wouldn't surprise me if he's 120kg.
