Thanks, Admin.
Tactical naivety is costing the Brumbies. The continued pick and drive has not worked yet they persisted. There was ample opportunity to mix it up when in the Reds half. Chip over the top, kicks for the corner, field goal even.
Not sure what thjey were trying to do? Force a penalty?
Ended up with justice but the performance of the refs must be further scrutinised. Walsh from an overly officious basis, and the touchie for being blind when it suited the brumbies.
Holmes let the pressure get to him that should have been a dead cert 3 points to win the game.
Reds really needed that win, not only for the obvious reason of catching the Brumbies, but also to stay in contention for the top 6. The other results today meant a loss would have left them needing to win every game and hope another team imploded. Still a lot of work to do to qualify.
Not a great performance by either team but this one was always going to be about the result not the performance.
Finger was lying on the ground had another dig at it and was "lying" there.
Breakdown was messy because both sides flew bodies in there. Actually didn't think Aussie Steve was that bad. He did his best I thought to try make the gem flow somewhat when players refused to rollaway or stay on their feet while trying to dig at it. It was willing out there.
