This game could be anything, but one thing is certain that insomniacs may have found a cure if they watch these two teams.

  • Brumbies team will be named later this morning.
  • Despite all the speculation, it appears Nic White won't make the 22.
  • Pat McCabe is returning from a hamstring injury and if he passes a fitness test this morning will be named on the bench.
  • The 'tri half' system will still be in place.

The Crimes today were still going on the hope that White would make the 22...

Here's hoping...

Otherwise it sounds like Giteau has backed his underperforming scrumhalf mates to continue on...

Apparently Hooper is set to start at 7... don't like the chopping and changing from the coaches...

Felt like they should persist with Fainga'a...

I'm guessing T Smith or Fainifo drop out if McCabe is fit?

Disappointed about no White... and Salvi and Ma'afu starting again...

Well, they took care of the Highlanders alright...

But look for Ma'afu (and Salvi) to give away a tonne of penalties elsewhere around the field...

Brumbies are playing for pride and self respect this game..but then again maybe the Hurricanes are as well.

I wonder who will be the more desperate?

The Canes have a better team on paper than their results to date show. This probably means someone is in for a thrashing before the end of the season and this match COULD be it. Cruden starts, but he's down on confidence. If he's disrupted early that could be the ball game, but if he gets Nonu going then its Goodnight Brumbies, whose 10/12 channel is full of small, fast players. I think Jack Lam just might be up for this game to show some people a few things.

The Brumbies team has some real worries: The tri-half experiment has the potential to confuse the Brumbies more than the other team. No White again, Salvi has been poor all year and Fainga'a has been the pick, the second row lacks impact and the front row will leak penalties at the scrum and maybe worse. Have the Brumbies forgotten Palmer vs the Crusaders?

I have a gut feeling this will be the week the Brumbies click and put the Canes away in good fashion.

Holy hell.....Bring on White and bench Valentine & Phibbs.........When the old isn't working, you change it. This young fellow deserves a run.

Would prefer they just made it official and named To'omua at 10 but oh well as long as they do what they did against the Highlanders then I'm happy. Really want to see this switching 5/8s click.

Some writing off the Canes, I think they might be up for this one in a big way....and I think they might get on the back of Jack Lam and his brutal defense. Lam has stepped it up a notch (just ask the Bulls pack). and I agree with Hawko, Lam will be out to prove to the Brumbies that they should not have disgarded him when they did. Will be great game to watch I think.

Let's hope it's the case with Lam...he's now in my fantasy team.
