I don't know a lot of the Spirit players but the Brisbane squad looks strong. Can't wait to see a team sheet for the 23.
Not sure on the injury status of the guys but if they are all fit, then the best 23 for City should rival most other teams.

Here's an early test for the NRC's alternate jerseys:

There's four combinations, one of which just doesn't really work...

So that's a 25% chance of getting it plain wrong, or so you'd think.

But (in one of my cynical, misanthropic moments) I'd almost put money on them f**king it up.

Bris City are entitled to wear their home jersey. The Spirit will be required to wear their away/clash jersey. No?

Hopefully so. I'm just a bit doubtful based on what sometimes happens in the Supe and even in last weekend's Pumas-Boks match. Rugby administration doesn't exactly overflow with genius.

Anyway, enough negativity. This should be a good match to open the comp.
