Ships pays out as last try scorer for the 4th time this season!!!!

He has effectively paid for my season ticket!

You beauty Reds! We are back in the game now!

Am not one for placing bets on rugby, but was moved by great odds for a Reds win in an Aussie betting site so took the trouble to open an account and plonked down $100 on them at 3-1! Was struggling to find odds better than 2-1 in English bookie sites...so obviously they are leery of betting against the Reds...

On top of winning that, I get a free $100 bet from that bookie...

After last weeks game and post, should Genia be dropped. Lucky he wasn't.
That lose is the won they needed more then the force pumping us. Played a lot better tonight. Bit pissed they didn't go for the bonus point try but I'm no the one at training. Maybe RUGBY REG can tell me why there going this. Is it for/against thinking.

Agree - wins over the Brumbies and Tahs will take care of any bonus point issues. They are the key games now. I am going to both.

Good that the Reds got the win, BUT in similar fashion to the Waratahs last week, 2 early tries should have been capitalised on and the 4 try bonus point secured.

I know there will be those that say they had a lot of injuries and getting the combinations back is important, but this was against the poorest team in the comp whose only win was somehow against the Bulls.

There were periods where it seemed the Reds were prepared to let the Blues have a crack and try and hold them out with their defense, which I will say they did extremely well. It's not often an Aussie team wins at Eden Park, let alone by scoring 4 tries and I think they've missed a real confidence boosting opportunity here.

Hopefully a few guys have played themselves back into form, ie: Genia, Simmons & Morahan, all good tonight. Lucas was also very good alongside Gill. I don't think Harris can bank on his kicking to keep him in the side anymore when Quade returns, his last three games have seen him off que & it has extended to his kicks for touch & in general play. Defense was very very good this week.
Keep it up boys, really need the next 4 in a row now. And a bonus point will help, really should have gone for it after that excellent dominant maul.

Good game by the reds, blues just a shadow of what they were of recent times. A bit disappointed the reds didn't go for the bonus point at the end there though, surely a run down the sideline is a pretty minimal risk option - if you get tackled its more than likely to go into touch and it's the end of the game anyway...

Brumbie Jack, while I agree a bonus point would have been great, I'm sure just winning at Eden Park will be a fantastic confidence boost in itself.

Should also add I reckon Joubert is a very good referee, possibly the best in the competition, fucking Kaplan can't help himself though!
